If someone flames a moderator, is it standard procedure for the flamed mod to take care of it themselves or leave it to another one (who may be more objective)

Not usually, unless it's a particularly grievous violation the poster has committed.

The thing is, moderators are members here, too, and deserve the same basic respect that anybody else does - at least that's my opinion.

It'd be nice to get some other staff members' opinions on this, though.

Like I said, it depends. There's a huge difference between "I think you made the wrong decision" and "You're a _________ (insert negative adjective/descriptive phrase of your choice) moderator."

Do mods ever troll one another? What happens then? Do the super-moderators start banning the junior mods? But what happens if teh super moderators start flaming the other super moderators WHERE DOES IT ALL END?
