No. Edited posts do not trigger notifications.
If I click the Like link by accident (meaning to click on Reply or +Quote), and then cancel it immediately, does that trigger a notification?
Just liked and unliked your post, did you get a notification? I would guess you would.
No, I did not. That is good, as I keep doing that accidentally.
There should be way to add custom title in personal details, but I can't find. Am I looking from the right place or is something else preventing me?
In personal details, it should show directly under your avatar picture.
I just noticed that there are two places under "Personal details" where gender is asked. Why is that?
The one near the end of the page shows what is actually displayed IIRC.
I know that. I just asked why there are TWO places to indicate gender. It's redundant.
It isn't there. Under my avatar pic is gender options.
Do not really understand why the forum isn't showing you a place to make the change.
Have manually changed your permissions, please check again and see if you can make the change now.
I remember that in other forums you are required to have a certain amount of posts for a custom title.
I don't think we had that, but maybe that's something which wasn't properly transferred from vB to Xenforo?
Okay, now it works. Thank you! Do I need to have a translation for the title in somewhere?
You're welcome. Glad you have it working.
Think we only ask for translations for signatures.
Thank you, checked that and he was all set. Not sure why it didn't work, so just altered permissions...
My own usertitle should be proof that it's not. Some people do not even post real words there. Across most of the (public parts of the) forum people are supposed to post only in English except in dedicated threads which only can exist if there are moderators available who can speak the language.
Are there any settings to change back to normal emojis? I don't like the winter edition.
I just checked, and the answer appears to be 'no.' It looks like you can opt out of seeing people's signatures, but not smileys.
Not to worry; the Santa smileys are only here until Christmas.
Sorry, cannot opt out as they are replaced in the database. The normal smileys will return when the Holiday Season ends.
I'm trying to do the same thing @Kjimmet did, but I'm running into the same problem. May I ask that you please change the permissions? Thanks, William the Conqueror.
