Nope. It will just show the total member number. Other boards do show number of anonymous users though, you're right.

Report one of the posts in the thread of question, and mention that it's about the tags, then we'll take a look at it. The tags are part of the forum, so they have to follow the same rules like the rest of the forum.

We were having server issues with the civfanatics.net site, so, since we already had the Facebook site, we decided to drop the .net site.

Why would anybody need to go to Facebook to find out if there's a server problem? If we come here and it doesn't work, we know there's a problem. We shouldn't need confirmation from *that* place.
