Yes, you can link to personal web sites as long as your personal web site is not advertising a product or service.

You have to use the image attachment tool (the one next to the quote button) and give it the url of the attachment you uploaded.

If so, once you upload the .jpg, click on the link for the thumbnail and then place that link within the image tags

and they will show full size in your post.

If the images are really large, you should put them within spoiler tags because large images take a long time to load for some people.

actually, the spoiler tag doesn't stop large images loading, just them from being displayed.

Ok, images working well on pc. However, my iPad does not show them. Just a tiny square. Why is it so?

As far as I know, you cannot. The images have to be attached to something in the forum, loose the thumbs and you loose the image.

upload the image to another imaging host and then include it in your posts (photobucket or imageshack or others).

Who are we?

We call (or used to call) ourselves CFC (Civilization Fanatics Center), so why does it now say Civilization Fanatics' Forums?
I also see that the address is forums.civfanatics.com, has this changed?
I still have the habit of referring to us as CFC, but perhaps CFF is more correct.

Depends upon the forum. Some of them can have bans set up. If you wish to request one, please send a Private Message to a moderator for that forum.
