Have a look at the advanced reply box and you will see a box near the Sizes box and the smilie box and that is the area that you can get different colours. Have alook for th red box in the picture and that is where you can find the info.

There will be a '+ sign' next to your buddies. Easier to spot them when they are online. I would like to colour-code them...
