I've looked everywhere but I can't find what crime rate a certain city has?, is there any place in the info screen where I can find it, or is it an unknown stat?
Workers (And I assume every unit with 0 strength), are no longer valid targets for assassination attempts. This is to make the Guardsman promotion valid (as previously, people used to carry giant stacks of workers, so that the assassins just pick the workers off)
Hyborem is a Hero, and as a result, gets a massive "Decreased chance to defend the stack" (Which I *think* means that the base strength of Hyborem is reduced to a HALF)
Unfortunatly, this means that he, when he is strong-ish, he acts as a decent guardsman unit, even without guardsman, as he draws the assassins to him (!!)
I killed Basium 3 times with that fact (And with the Nether Blade, of course)
As for not picking Imps... I dunno... thats odd.
And ritualists can't see those types of units, but I am not sure that the AI doesn't check to see if it can actually see the unit, when it takes into consideration when to use the Ring of Flames ability.
However, that said, Ring of Flames doesn't kill, just damages. Your shadows may be weak, but unless there is a way it gets detected, it won't die.

Thanks for your reply and explanation. I am still not sure why the Imps were not the main target of the Shadow. No Nether Blade involved here. Also, I didn't know that about the Workers - this is good to know as I was one who always carried Workers along as Assassin fodder in my stacks.
Yeah, the Ring of Flames is only damaging...but, it is very annoying too in that I have to move away to heal and HN Shadows can take a longer time than usual to heal. I'd still like to know one way or another if they can see Stealth/Invisible units. On the rare occasion when I have had a Ritualist, I don't recall them having this ability.
Perhaps it is a bug in that they can see the Shadows![]()
It is just that the spell checks for any valid target without checking if the target is visible. So even for when you are playing you might notice sometime that Ring of Flames is castable, but there aren't any actual targets nearby. It will be rare as you seldom give orders to your units each and ever turn, but it could happen.
Well, the Ritualist can't see him, more that he can sense him. If he could see him then it would allow the ritualist and all other units belonging to that player to attack you directly.
Hello, all. I ahve just installed the latest version of the game FFH2 for BTS, and also have the latest version of BTS. However, when I go into my game and look up "load a mod", it won't show up. When I make a quicklink to the file on my desktop and click on it, it asks me what program I wish to run it on, and then do nothing. When I try to run it on BTS, it still won't appear in the MODS menu, even though I have the file saved in my MODS subfolder in my BTS games area. Any suggestions are very appreciated, as I anticipated the ability to play this greatly!!!!!!
"the file" is an (exe) installer. You have to run it and install the mod for it to work. If it's not an exe file then it's because one of the download sites remove that part of the name; adding .exe at the end should enable you to run it.
