Similar to what LucyDuke said. I'd have to cook smaller batches, and be more proactive about finishing any leftovers quickly (I'd be perfectly fine leaving food out from lunch to dinner, not sure where exactly the cutoff would be - probably varies by food). I probably would go shopping more and buy less, particularly for products like yogurt. I'd probably buy more canned food. And I'd drink way less milk. I'd also be more likely to call out for pizza instead of cooking frozen ones.
But other than dairy and some leftovers, I don't actually have that much that's super-perishable in the fridge. Most fruits and veggies I buy could survive a couple days on the counter, I'd just have to plan better which ones I bought. I couldn't stockpile stuff in the freezer, hence the grocery shopping more. Other than that, not a whole lot.
Actually, maybe I should start storing my fruits and vegetables on the counter. I'd probably eat them quicker, and might actually have less go bad.
I do not have a fridge of my own, but the side-by-sides are obviously the worst. There's never enough space in the freezer side for things like frozen pizzas.
