Frontier Justice [Game Thread]

Hm, continuing with this logic, vote: Xym, I'm curious what (if anything) you have to say. None of the other cases thus far today have convinced me, though I am getting the feeling that atheotes is flinching a bit hard right now.
I am going to defend myself. Mislynches happen. So I don't have a problem if I get lynched. But I want to get responses as much as possible.

SouthernKing what are you thinking? That sounds like me being scum.

Outlaws off the starboard bow, Jim.

I could lynch Bsmith today, although he could just as easily be town rather than Outlaw. Hard to tell.

Zym is another possibly candidate, so quiet in the shadows, well worth a noose.

I think it is a little premature for mutli quotes, FOS on the instigators for using wall of text as a umbrella.

Havin a runaway wagon is dangerous as any herder worth salt knows, therefore Vote:Zym

A provisional count of votes suggests BSmith (1), Atheotes (4), Al Sipsclar (1), Xym (2) and Spaceman (1).

Based on his poor showing so far, I'll vote: BSmith1068.

Eh. I can assure you that it has nothing more than just me being busy in RL. I hadn’t even been on CFC in a few days and happed to check the forum right before I had to leave work on Monday when I saw the PM saying the game had started. Zack can attest that my post and vote for Jarrema came maybe 5 minutes after reading the PM. I skimmed the thread quickly – saw that there were a couple of wagons and that the vote was close, didn’t feel strongly about any of the wagons and so placed a vote on Jarrema mainly for the reasons that Spaceman outlined.

Way back Verarde and I had a standing thing where we would vote each other every game on D1. Since he stopped playing that kinda switched to Jarrema (though never really took). My vote was a throwback to that as I had little time to do any real thinking on the game.

It also was not near the end of the day – it was just into the second half of the day when I posted. I fully intended to be back and active Tuesday morning my time before the end of the day, but work conspired against me in that regard.

Since we have a bunch of new players lately it might not be a bad idea to remind everyone that I have little to no online time in the evenings/weekends with family duties, etc. Lately work has been pretty hectic too, and is only looking to be more so in the next few months with a big project I am running getting started. I will certainly post as I am able, but don’t expect me to be anywhere near one of the top posters.

That said I do have some time this morning in the office and I hope to get a reread of the thread in and some specific thoughts written down.

Nah, there's trouble at t' mill.

1. Jarrema – Not really providing much reasoning behind votes. Possibly scum
2. KingMorgan – Doesn’t actually have a lot of content for being one of the wagons. I would have expected more. Possible that team members “saved” him yesterday. Possibly scum.
3. Mat93 – No real read. I take him at his word that he is busy (hell I am too!). Possibly scum.
4. BSmith1068 – confirmed vanilla townie (to me anyway!)
5. DuffKilligan – Fine to call out my first post, especially since he doesn’t really know me yet. A bit disingenuous though to think it came late in the day (about 21 hours left in the day). Either town pushing good thoughts or scum building a case for future lynch. Possibly scum.
6. Atheotes – Active and working through ideas. Some controversy around said ideas, though. Not sure he warrants a runaway wagon today. Possibly scum.
7. Edse – 3 posts. No real content. Posted today. Possibly scum.
8. SouthernKing – Eager to jump on a wagon yesterday (3rd I think). Going the other direction today with a vote on someone less active than me. Possibly scum.
9. Takhisis – Typical unreadable self. Possibly scum
10. Omega124 – Reactionary, but not necessarily out of context with her personality and being new to the scene. She did have a bit of pressure right out of the gate. That said, possibly scum.
11. Al Sipsclar – Fairly active, putting forth opinions. Liked his post about me being desperate to survive N1. Possibly scum.
12. Kennigit – I like his style. Seems to be having a lot of fun with this game. Possibly Scum
13. Arakhor – Agree with him that the wagons on D1 all seemed to form out of nowhere and didn’t really have any reasoning behind them. That said an easy case to make especially if the wagons all end up being townies. Possibly scum.
14. spaceman98 – Lots of analysis and posts. I’ve seen this with both scum and town spaceman though. Do wish he would use multi quote or Word to write his posts with the proper quotes inserted. Possibly scum.
15. Xym – No read one way or the other – Possibly scum.

Bottom line – any one of you could be scum at this point. There isn’t enough information yet to clear anyone. I am going to vote: edse though. He is certainly present yet has been absent of any real content or contribution.

Let me do 2 things Zack does as scum/did in immediately recent games:

1. "But BSmith it is disingenuous to say you are town instead of possible scum" blah blah-- i, Kennigit, appreciate that post

2. No one has voted kingmorgan yet right? Why lay up for those that voted him yesterday?

It looks like Goldenknight voted for SK, then changed his vote to Morgan. He wanted the hat for himself.

That.... really didn't tell us much about anything. They killed a pretty low activity poster, which makes sense but helps us little.

Golden, if you could testify, now that we know you're townie, do you have any therioes you want to share? At the very least, we know you're being honest with intent.

keep in mind that since every townie is vanilla, Golden has the exact same information you do. The words of a confirmed townie are valuable, but he doesn't bring any special information to the table.

Basically that's it. I had no particular suspects, I just thought that JK seemed kinda townie and tried to prevent his lynching.

Right, now that Golden has posted, this is my take.

BSSmith is still a dirty ex-mod. Nothing will change that. But I can buy dirty ex mods being busy. If he and mat both have the excuse of being busy, and xym does not, then logically xym must be the best option to lynch given no info, which I still think is the case.

Vote:xym

Dirty ex-mod? I thought he showered every now and then.
Takhisis is behaving weird. But when he is not? I will not vote for him. I will vote: Atheotes.
:scan: This is some weird reasonin, man. So I would look weird if I didn't act weird?
Your reason for voting me is you don't want to vote for Takhisis?
This is just lazy at best.
While I wholeheartedly agree with the not-voting-Takhisis sentiment, I must say that there are many other not-Takhisis people you can vote for.

Time remaining: [TIMER=3/25/2016 2:00 PM CDT; Day 2 Over][/TIMER]

LYNCH:

Spoiler :
4 atheotes (Mat93, Kennigit, Al Sipsclar, Jarrema)

3 Xym (SouthernKing, KingMorgan, Omega124)

2 BSmith1068 (DuffKilligan, Arakhor)

1 Al Sipsclar (spaceman98)
1 edse (BSmith1068)
1 spaceman98 (atheotes)

---

Not Voting: Takhisis

Not Posting, Not Voting: edse, Xym

Dirty ex-mod? I thought he showered every now and then.

PIS? :p

BSmith is always busy so that's normal. I don't like atheotes talk about mislynch and having no problem with getting lynched as town, but that's probably an honest opinion. No point in lynching Xym with that little contribution.

Vote: SouthernKing

only based on this post,

Hm, continuing with this logic, vote: Xym, I'm curious what (if anything) you have to say. None of the other cases thus far today have convinced me, though I am getting the feeling that atheotes is flinching a bit hard right now.

honestly I'm allright with either of the top two hanging. I've already discussed atheotes. Xym, post something to make me not allright with hanging you

Zack question: What happens if the vote ties 4/4 at EOD and the cat in the hat isn't voting to lynch anyone? (e.g. if I switch my vote to Xym and no one else votes what happens)
