Set research to 0%, archery 4>6 turns. Doesn't matter, we do our research at 100%.
After 2 turns or so we greet another monty, H-something, in white, who moves a scout close to our border near the barb city.
Declare after roughly 4 turns, while half of greenie's units are suicided. Better take action quickly before yet more reinforcements come in... All cities but gold city had vultures ready to be whipped, since I didn't really believe him to threaten gold... turned out I was mistaken:
Our archer arrived in time however (like you'd expect anything else

). The archer decided to go worker-chasing and slowed down developement up there a bit. Forgot to mark it, the grass tile NE of gold is prefarmed.
However the archer was the only uncomfortable thing greenie sent our way. We did lose 2 3xp vults while killing around 10 units over roughly 4 turns, each turn, there were 2-3 more units. In the end:

Uruk finished the granary and grew to

-cap, still running the 2 scis and working mines. Rice got to eridu (why do I keep wanting to type "eldine"...?

) after it finished library>wb>granary for growth. I renamed a few cities so we don't have to bother with stupid names.
Not sure worker-wise, uruk and eridu don't need any workers until we get something worth chopping, and the jungle cities are getting their improvements at a decent rate. I don't see a need for more workers.
Some monty would trade crabs, I think the northern sites are taken as crab isn't exactly common usually, but we must check, both by WB and with some unit, if possible.
Techs, I'm still not convinced teching masonry is worthwhile but that seems to be the consensus. There is no threat whatsoever atm... After masonry, we have 2 real options: alphabet, for peace and a few rare trades maybe (and currency afterwards) or aesthetics, for the wonders, and be it only for the failure cash (paya!). OTOH ABC also unlocks building research which might be quite nice too, especially in uruk.
Oh, nearly forgot... greenie converted to hindu, and I nearly converted instantly, but then we met the confucianism founder... do we still want to convert? Indigo keeps sending missies btw
