The conclusion the Green and Fundamentalist/Christian movements will unite because both care for environment is nonsense.
In Germany, we also have a Conservative Environmental Party since ages (ÖDP, Ecological Party of Germany). Basically, this was a split-off from the Greens once it was clear that this one will became Leftish.
And while it is widely accepted as one of the very few minor parties that isn't completely nuts, it never reached more than 3% of votes even in regional elections; but normally, they get about 1% or so. And with our 5% hurdle, tht means they never got anywhere.
There simply is no substantial voter base for a such a movement. The two ideologies don't go together. Both can easily agree on 'Save the Earth!', but never on the measurements how to achieve it:
Green - collective effords; Christian Fundamentalists - personal responsibility. Or: More state or less state?
