Not real funny, but I thought I'd share:

(Turn off lights)
(Noise of people shuffling about)
(Lights come back on)

"Do you ever just hate barbarians? Want to do something mean to them. Wedgies? Now I present to you a cruel barbarian act. There were wandering in the desert for hundreds of years and still are. I think they're from the middle east and the "gods" (Sid) told them they had to wait before entering human lands, but it was too late. The following happened."

"Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, that started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship."

Are you sure you built enough tanks there?

I LOVE that wall :yeah:

He's probably built a ton of walls and castles though

I like the medic chariot at the end of the list ;)

That is quite an aqueduct, I wonder how the engineers pulled that one off.

I like it! :goodjob:

@Everyone liking the stuck barb: Wow I didn't think it was that funny, but oh well. I had to kill them later to get the oil on that tile.

2 strange things about this river... not exactly hilarious, just strange.

PS, my starting space looks like it's going to turn out to be a production/commerce powerhouse by mid-game, but will be a b:nono::nono::nono:h in the beginning.

EDIT: My neighbors are Surayvaman, Joao, Monty, and Toku. Talk about bad luck.

There is my vengeance! That's what you get for stealing my papyrus while we were in Thebes in 77BC
That wasn't me! I was in Thebes alright, but Thebes in Greece! I was dating Oedipus's Mum at the time. You can't pin this on me, I have an alibi!

Yes, I feel that old...

:p

It seems like you have no tile that will yield more than 3 food. I think that's a glitch because capitals are supposed to be generated with at least 1 "food resource" in them - that is, a tile that will give 4 food or more - but some food resources won't do that on certain terrains, like your plains cow and plains hill sheep.

You too? Jocasta was such a skank.

Now that explains why Oedipus was so angry he killed his father; couldn't bear the shame of having his father's wife stolen by a mere Lemon Merchant

Anyway thanks for the hint about both Thebes, I finally got my papyrus back

And got a new crazy off-topic-lover friend too; now, shall we go back on topic?

Amazing aqueduct... I love how it actually brings the city water... from a desert tile.
