Funny Screenshots: Part Deux

Building one tile improvement on top of an already existing improvement. Bad AI. Bad. Don't waste worker moves, silly AI.

Welcome to CFC, BTW. [party]

Can you see what Caesar's 11 workers are doing?

Building farms on workshops and workshops on farms. Seems entirely logical to me. It's like crop-rotation for idiots. :crazyeye:

Still trying to finish my marathon earth 18 aztec game. My turns are probably taking longer than most of TMIT's games at this point  Earth maps are fun though. Anyway:

1+2) Classic AI fail. Saladin has declared war, because I am on my way to a space win - Better AI tends to do that. Or it could just be because he hates me. There is nothing the AI can do about my tech lead, but at least it built a sensible mix of seige and other units. Sadly, it didn't put them in the same stack :shake:

3) Habitual warmongers can probably beat this easily, but this by far the biggest negative diplo I have ever had.

It's a Miracle! The Holy Mountain just one tile outside of my boarders!

Wow. I thought that thing only appeared on one-tile islands.

-81 total... wow. Just how many of their cities did you burn?

The Holy Mountain was found in a hole in your borders. It must be doubly holy!

Just how do you tell where the damn mountain is anyway? I get that message all the time and can't find it.

Or pray that you settle close enough such that your borders eventually include it. Such is the path of divine providence.

I built enough Temples, Monastaries and Cathedrals.

It is a silly quest. If you're going for a conquest or space win, you probably have better things to build than all those religious buildings. If you're going for a culture win, then building all those religious buildings is a help, but then you don't need the happiness reward because your culture slider is so high.

I didn't build them for the quest. I had Apost Palace, the spiral minaret and university Sankore. Marathon and huge maps help. I also one this game through Domination.

I don't have a screenshot for this, but it's a funny thing that happened to me in my last game. I'd just finished mopping up George Washington, leaving just me and Zara Yaqob left (out of originally five factions, hence why I didn't have a domination victory at that point). Now, I had something like 70% of the map and more advanced units than Zara, but I didn't really feel like wiping him out, so I settled down to hash out a space victory...and Zara builds the UN.

What can I do? There's only two civs left, so it's him or me for the UN leader. And I have more votes than he does. Not enough to vote myself a straight diplomatic victory, but I did have some fun forcing Zara to accept some less-than-helpful UN mandates as my rocket left the solar system...

I've heard ppl on these forums argue about how good the levee is and if its worth placing a city for future immediate gain or a future levee. Well I found this in a recent game in my old neighbours territory. Once I razed the city and fixed the location, this is my Levee City packed with watermills in State Property and a GA.

381 hammers before a factory & power plant, every tile has the levee bonus :D Maybe not funny, but definitely fun!

Make it your cap and switch to bureaucracy: extra 50 hammers.
