The second option which gave me a free great bard which I used to start a golden age and 15 turns of unhappiness and rioting in Vallus. The first option would have killed it and I think would have given 1 or 2 happiness.

From the 'Defence' mod. Yellow squares are ones that can be bombarded by my trebuchet.

I can hurl a rock all the way down to the end of the mountains, but cannot get it to land part way.
