What kind of war, Archer? :confused:

I doubt a great despression in Europe, at the moment, would cause a war because of the economic union... and the resources are all local.

I don't think China would be greatly affected. It's kind of used to being self-sufficient.

We already saw a terrible economic collapse in the far east (i.e. Japan), and there was no aggression.

The only aggression in the US comes from weak Presidents (unable to control their military advisors) ... voters don't seem to like waging war.

Brazil is always in a depression. They are used to it. No offense intended.

I don't think there's any risk of war coming from a second great depression.

My predicition: Secret Canadian/Australian/New Zealand coalition unveils an arsenal of weapons of Mass Destruction more powerful than anything the rest of the world could dream of building (we've had plenty of space to hide it).

After years of thinking that we were wimpy little nice guy countries, the other super powers of the world are compeltely dumbfounded.

The rest of the world has no choice but to bow to our superiority and learn to live properly, by eliminating all violence in world affairs and directing it into sport where it belongs.

@HamaticBabylon, Vasileius

I think that EU-like regional unions & Leagues will be the rule of XXI century. The first steps for a World Union. So, I'm optimistic.

Then, under my point of view (the same of the most Europeans / Western people I think) all the Arabic-speaking countries have the same language, religion, culture, so they would fit well in a unique nation... surely better than the European countries in the Eu after centuries of wars.
