FFS. When they say nothing, we get a bunch of posts demanding at least some communication because "we're working on stuff, no announcements at this time" is better than silence. Then, when they say they're working on stuff, we get complaints about having to wait.

We haven't gotten a word about the future of civ 6 since September. Many already want them to move on to civ 7. Deafening silence. Its the utter lack of communication that has harmed civ 6.

The guy on twitter may have been asking for info on new titles, but Firaxis' response didn't specify whether their "several exciting projects" were new titles or something for existing titles (including Civ6).

great find. This is what i’ve been waiting for since November. We will have to wait more.
But at least firaxis is communicating with us. I’ll say this is a big win.

well here is to hoping civ 6 is included in that message and the wait isnt too far down the road.

tbh i am looking forward to the next Xcom game/xpac. Both games in the series + xpac have been great. xcom 2 had a rocky release but it is in great shape now.

BE2 could be nice as well. BE was nice, but it just felt like it was lacking something. perhaps i just didn't spend enough time with it.
