[GS] Future Update?

So are there any equivalents to steamdb for PlayStation/Xbox/iPad/etc where we can see if they are testing something?

LOOK ALIVE, PEOPLE

There's a new DLC (unknown) and a depot to go with it. The depot is named Runner.

Woah. Let the civfanatic flood gates open. It is happening!!! Discuss

should runner mean the new content is coming out fast?

It has no files yet, so I don't think it will be less than a month.

Also, notice that there isn't a depot for the Mac and Linux versions yet, which tends to indicate that this is not going to come in less than a month.

My preliminary prediction:

If DLC, end of March before Q2

If Exp 3, late spring or summer

what would the next step be. More hidden steam updates. Ever changing file numbers coming up on civfanatics.
Till firaxis makes a big announcement on social media after x number of weeks?

(apologies. I can’t hide my excitement very well)

We are kind of in terra incognita here. But if it follows past evidence, it will be QA tested.

@AntSou with all the DLC, we knew that they existed (but little to nothing about content) for several months before they began to release.

If this is a DLC coming late March, they might make some kind of preliminary announcement tomorrow. But no promises there. Terra Incognita

Surely Firaxis couldn't let this thread to be closed, so they had to do something, fast.

Edit: and okay, time to wake up Bite from his 3 weeks of artificial sleep. That was not as effective as we thought.

Firaxis saw me getting yelled at for saying the game was dead and PROMPTLY responded to that nonsense ;)

I will accept apologies in the form of endless praise and worship, as usual.

ENGINEERS, EYES AND EARS!

Spoiler :
We're doing Company of Heroes quotes, yes? :p

That one rang my helmet, like a bell!

I was gonna say, they had to have been watching this thread and seeing what a disappointed nadir we've been sinking further into. I really hope this is substantiated, and good.

Can some civfanatic historian clarify what could those new things mean ... what happened before when DLC's and expansions were released, is this something new or there is some pattern.

Too little, too late. If they do not release a bug free World Builder and fix it so maps work at sizes of at least 1000x800, I will wait till this whatever is on sale for 90% off. Probably it will still be overpriced.

When our greatest prophet Eagle Pursuit says terra incognita. We are sailing our ship in the middle of a body of water. Not knowing if it is a lake or an ocean. Unknown when we will reach land and what we will see.
