Short Interview Article in Gamer Nation Magazine:
Gamer Nation: Hello, this is the magazine Gamer Nation interviewing the lead developer for Big Time Entertainment, a brand new game development studio, Greg Heitzimmer, about their first project, Homicide Cop. Hello Greg, its great to have you here.
Greg Heitzimmer: Thank you, its a pleasure to talk to you.
GN: Please, Greg, tell us about this new game you have in development.
Greg: Ah, yes, Homicide Cop. Well, I've been a fan of video games for a while, I used to play alot of the home consoles back before the crash of '83, and before that I was always at the Arcade. Those games were fun, but they weren't very deep. My idea for Homicide Cop is to make a deep, intriguing story that will amaze gamers with many plot twists and turns. Something that will make people say "wow" over and over again.
GN: Well, that does sound interesting. Please, can you tell us some more specifics, such as what genre is this game going to be, and other such things?
Greg: Of course. I'm aiming for this game to be a story-heavy action/RPG hybrid. There will be plenty of thinking puzzles, looking for clues, brawling, and shoot outs. There will be RPG elements with stats and such. The player can make the main character into any type of character he or she wants. You'll be able to make him an expert marksmen or and very logical puzzle solver. Its all up to your own particular play-style.
GN: That sounds like a bold first move for a young company like Big Time Entertainment. Do you have any specifics about a release date? What system will it come out for?
Greg: [He chuckles] Well, I can't give a specific release date, nor a specific console yet. We have a projected release date, however. We are aiming to have the game on store shelves by holiday season of '88.
GN: Well, Greg, our time is running short. We'd like to thank you for this interview, and we now feel anticipated to learn more about this game. Hopefully in the future you can go into a bit more detail about the story and such, but until then, it was great having you.
Greg: Oh, no problem. I'm always happy to talk games. I'm glad we could have this interview too. Take care.
