You're wrong... the French invaded Wales in 1797.
You're off by about 700 years Gaius.
This old thing that sat in port for four years?Matt, hopefully the Sevastopol BB is the ww2 version![]()
But how in the world would it be a "true" WW2 battleship if it never fired a single shot or rode a single wave in WW2? In fact, it was such a pipe dream, it was never finished even after the war.Let's use the Russian BB I posted earlier if you really want a true WW2 battleship! Even though it was not finished.
None of the above...BTW, dutchking and I have been having a discussion, and we have a question... how do you pronounce "Wolfshanze"?Wolf-shawnz or Wolf-shawn-zee?

Heck, at least the USS Midway can be called a post-war carrier... you can't even say that about the Sovietski Soyuz.
Pipe Dream... I'd rather see models that actually saw service... even if it did just sit in port for four years (that's more then the Sovietski Soyuz ever did).
None of the above...
'Wolf-shawn-zah'
Because I need it for my WWII mod. It's a 'what might have been' thing.
Well, 3 of them are no-differant then the units they replace... name-only changes, statistically identical. The other two? Both WWII Panzers... which are actually watered-down from vanilla Civ-4's Panzer... the 50% anti-tank bonus the one panzer got in vanilla civ-4 is now two 30% anti-tank bonuses on two WWII panzers in the Wolfshanze Mod... I call it a wash. I have other civs like the Vikings, Japanese and Chinese who have more then one UU as well... of course you didn't catch that.German, is it?That explains why your mod has 5 German UUs!

Actually, the term is "When in doubt, just choose a model from the guy who provides the most background info... which is usually Wolfshanze... or, go with the request you are sure of... like the Hungarian who believes Hungary is a historical ocean naval power, and build the Tegetthoff class dreadnought".When in doubt, take the easy way out... do 'em both.I am a little confused, now I cannot remember who requested what, or anything. All I know was someone requested a Russian BB, hmm..

When in doubt, take the easy way out... do 'em both. You can do it!
After so many replies and such great work, this thread now has more views than even my quantitative resources thread. That says a lot for the quality.

That I'd be interested in... you know how it's done?I think that Seven05 figured out how to implement unique names through the art styles without needing an extra UU, though.
