Actually the East Coast is fairly easy to settle for little cost. You just assert overlordship over the Aborigines, let them continue their lifestyle, and exploit the plants and animals of the region to supplement your existing foodstuffs, gaining lots of territory for little effort. Later, you mine.

Fairly low cost to settle, actually, so long as you aren't parking cities in the middle of the desert or something. And don't repeat the environmental disasters of real Australia.

There wasn't supposed to be any long-term settlement, but my rulers did get paranoid after a while as they saw vast conspiracies arranged against them. Naitzhouyu (Australia) along with Kao Nafa (New Zealand) were designed to become "safe-houses" for the Khmer Empire and the Monarchy so we began shipping volunteers and settlers and etc

Yes, I am aware that my rulers are ALL quite paranoid but I swear that was my reason for going into Australia in the first place!

I guess I should step in.

Somewhere in the end of June my life came to an end. I lost a girl I cared the most about for the past year. Unlike Storm, I . .. .. .. . everything up if something goes wrong with my personal life. So, I had to leave CFC, NESing and a lot of other good things that made up my life. Now I can devote more time to my internet life as I am slowly crawing up to what I had before my life went to hell. Thats all from me.

Very unexpectidly lost my internet entirely for the last one and a half, almost two, weeks (that's what you get for staying at a non-chain motel apparently). My apologies to everyone this affected. I will be trying to catch up with everything over the next couple of days.

However, this break did allow me to complete another installation of my alt-hist which I will be posting shortly.

What could there possibly be in Moscow or St. Petersburg that you don't have in Ekaterinburg?

The Russian government? And, more relevantly, an Israeli embassy. The Israeli foreign passport has many uses, especially in the wrong hands.
