Generic Vacation Thread

I'm back....damn

Gone for the next week. In spite of many RL distractions, the next Forge of Empires update is still in progress and will be forthcoming.

Hey everyone.

I am gone until next Saturday, August 2nd. Please NPC any nations if necessary. Also, my NES is going to be updated when I get back. See you in a week!

Am back; will reacquaint myself with the NES situation later this day; in the meantime, I would like to report that it is atrociously warm in Western Siberia during the summer, and that this is only compounded by the presence of an immense amount of insects especially in swamp areas.

Hooah!

Amusing, then, that I myself will be heading someplace warm and swampy and insect-ridden (without an air conditioner too!): Louisiana, specifically New Orleans and the Slidell-Metairie area. Will be driving down today (when it becomes today; so far it's only been today for nine minutes) and tomorrow, and ought not to expect Internet access during that time. I will probably have intermittent Internet of the dialup variety while I'm there (a condition lasting roughly two weeks with an extremely flexible return date). Probably.

Go Saints. :p

@das- Lovely! It sounds just like home! I wonder how similar Siberia and the Yukon are- seems that they are almost the same.

I actually feel like I'm reading about home whenever one of you guys talks. :p

[Qualification: My actual hometown is much less boreal than the surrounding area, so technically the above statement is incorrect.]

I have established myself in the land of mosquitoes and hurricanes with an Internet connection of moderate speed. Driving that far in two days sucks.

I am back, most likely for the rest of the summer.

I'm going to Silicon Valley and checking out UC Berkeley and Stanford as well as San Francisco and whatnot. Internet access may be spotty.

Pretty busy next few days

Did someone just say that Stanford is a huge corporate donation-sucking entity cleverly disguised as a university? No? Must have just been the wind.

Still in France. Dying hot but I can still see mountains with snow on them, and despite State Department estimates, the metric system remains firmly in place.

Harvard is worse.

Starting roughly twelve hours from now, I will once again embark on a two-day odyssey that will end up with me back in Virginia with a shower somewhat close to large enough for me and my razor.

Yo, Lightfang if you go to Stanford we could PARTY together. I go to the College down the street.

Now to keep my post on topic I shall be gone.

AUG. 9th to AUG. 16thish Gone to Mexico (Cozumel).
