Generic Vacation Thread

I'll be away this weekend, and most likely unavailable for NESing from tomorrow at 1 PM EST (24 hours from now) until late Monday night.

Ill be away in a month for a weekend in QC. As promised, I shall riot against Quebec joining the Commonwealth. People will join me too. DYT@$*(@#Q$*ing separtists...

Unfortunately, recent circumstances in my life revolving around work, health and other issues will DRASTICALLY reduce my NESing time for the weekdays, and quite possibly weekends for anywhere from a week to a month. I am not leaving any NESes yet, as I will send guidelines to you all in case I cant get orders in.

On that note, I\'ll be gone most of this weekend: Saturday for a canoeing trip, Sunday for NAQT States at UVA.

I hope Steve Yang or Siddharth doesn\'t shoot anyone. ;)

EDIT: I have returned from canoeing and will conduct what diplo I can today.

I will be gone all of tomorrow, all of Saturday, and all of or almost all of Sunday at MUNIllinois, U of I's model UN conference. Vive L'Inde!

EDIT: Orders have been sent for BirdNES. I don't believe I will have other orders due, but if I will, unfortunately they will not be sent this turn.

I've just been accepted to Pearson College, United World College of the Pacific.

I'm not sure if I will be able to continue NESing from there, though rest assured I will do my utmost to remain with everyone here.

Unless for some reason they've banned the internets and thusly have no ethernet ports anywhere (which would be very unusual for a college) I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. :p

I know, but it's a very involved program.

But if I have 1 spare hour a night, I'll continue to NES.

I have a friend who attends a private school on Vancouver Island, and they block a bunch of websites (this being one of them, because it's a 'Gaming Website' or something like that).

Universities aren't high schools. They aren't going to bother with crap like that. The very most you'll see a university of any susbstance do is block instant messenger programs on library computers, and odds are they won't do that either. So in that case it'd likely be a time issue. College isn't as grueling as people like to pretend either as far as strictly classes are concerned. Not until later, anyway.

That's what proxy servers are for!

Meh, that's all I ever have. I just use work time to multitask ;)

It'll work out fine.

In case people haven't noticed I have been away the last month.

This is due to increased real life committments. I am unsure of when I will be returning only that I will once everything else sorts itself out. Nesing has been in my mind even though I am still unable at this time particpate.

Other than that this is just to let you know that I am all alive and nothing seriously bad has occured only increases in work as I know some of you might of feared much worse.
