While the Sumerian Empire is not known for interfering in foreign matters, this sudden aggression forces us to step in if we want to live in safety ourselves, especially after the recent development of casting techniques for a newly found substance called "Copper", which allows the cheap mass production of more dangerous melee arms than ever before in the known history. After all the school-related stress of the last month I totally forgot how much fun this roleplaying is, don´t let me down guys.

Deep in the heart of the Ewostatewosian Praxis, a thing that was carried by a Sumarian messenger finally arrives at the tent of Ruffster John. It is purported to contain a message from the Sumarian leader ... but no one in The Praxis can read it. Reviewing the worlds collective knowledge, Ruffster John is pretty certain that no one in Sumaria actually knows how to read it either.

Anyway, the Sumerian People´s Council wants a personal meeting with the leader(s) of Ethiopia. We suggest the City of Eridu as the location for it, it is equally distant for both of us.

Yes I agree
Skype and other messengers are tough to work with because you'll rarely have 2 people on the same program at the same time, even scheduling times is tough.

But this subject is important or will be at some point due to wanting to move the turn forward but a negotiation/decision might slow the pace. For this I suggested using SMS/texting mobile phone because they need would be very Rare and depending on person to person agreement.

Skype and other messengers are tough to work with because you'll rarely have 2 people on the same program at the same time, even scheduling times is tough.

I typically rely on email for out of game diplo (or PM here at CFC).

I invited a leader or ambassador or someone else speaking for the Ethiopian people, not a whole army with state-of-the-art weapons.

That doesn´t mean you have to send a real unit in the game btw. We have three tiles of shared cultural influence, I suppose that means citizens of both of us already live there.

I must say I was a bit uneasy when you settled that city so close to my capital ... especially when there must be tons of other land closer to your capital.

Nice this whole issue just turned out to be a misunderstanding, this certainly will help with a peaceful resolution of this conflict. The settling place was decided by the gods, after the lost tribe took huge losses in an unprovoked barbarian assault, everyone saw that there was no more use in wandering around the world aimlessly, so the elders saw it most fitting to settle right on the place where so much blood has been shed, as to warn future generations of the dangers of warmongering. We mean you no harm.
