*Austrian high command increasingly worried about the weal French position in the Franco-Russian conflict- new ships ordered! The Austrian fleet now patrols the Eastern mediterranean.

*Cease Fire signed with France!

Britain had decided that a sum of 500 gold will be insufficent. However in support of peace we shall lower our demand to 750 gold, over 15 turns.

Sorry, but the French governement will only go as high as 500, and techs. Take it or leave it.

sas, are you going to play your turn as well so we can have a nice swift turnover?

cheers. going through a whole round of turns in a few hours would have to be some kind of record. :D

The French governement is in a state of shock after Russia captured Alexandria. The French forces in the are is ordered to defend the remainder cities at all cost, untill French reinforcements arrive.

*French attack on Russian forces near Alexandria and Antioch, destroying two Russian Cavalry units.

France is saddened by Britains lack of willingness to come to an agreement. France will pay 500 and give its techs as compensation for the British losses in the Franco-British war. We have now come to the point where we can only ask Britain to accept or receive no compensation at all.

The new French army is on a state of high alert, awaiting the British response. We would like to point out that Britain is in no position to force its demands on France without the support of Prussia. For the sake of your people, please accept.

With tensions rising in Europe once again, Prussian troops began a series of internal manouvers to respond to potential threats. The largest scale troop movements are apparently in response to Austrian military posturing in the Eastern Mediterrenean, which have increased the risk of the Franco-Russian conflict expanding to the European theatre. Prussia cannot overemphasise its desire for the belligerant parties to find a peaceful solution to their problems. We once again ask Russia to come to the table in order to eliminate the risk of another pan European conflict.
In order to show its willingness to commit to lasting peace, Prussia signed an offical cease fire agreement with representatives of the French Republic.

Prussia's economy recovered from the lean spell of growth last month as foreign currency flowed into the National bank. Official government sources denied that the reparations and loan payments would lead to inflationary pressure, further destabilisng the war damaged Prussian economy, instead choosing to thank the Great Powers who chose to grant the resources despite their hard pressed finances.

there we go, a whole round in a day. Winter will probably be bumping Britain in about... 20 minutes or so?

Our territorial gains are merely a few Spanish territories. Yet Plymouth was utterly destroyed.

Compensation for our losses? We have lost thousands of young men, thousands in funds, our cities are pillaged by their own bureaucracy so that the war effort would proceed, and the British Empire didn't fade into oblivion, and so that Europe would not be sacked by Napoleons mad lust.

I support british position. Like George III said, they lost thousands of men, cities pillaged, the Massacre of Plymouth, they sold many buildings to obtain funds to go on with the war against crazy Napoleon.
All in all, they fought France since day one. They were the main focus of french attacks!
They deserve a bigger compensation from France.

Obviously, Russia supports Britains claims. Anything to hurt Frances ability to wage war against Russia is in Russias interest.

France is saddned by Britain's lack of willingness to accept the 500 offered by France, even when it's ally Prussia agrees that what France offers is adequate.

Allthough we is saddened by the losses of British civilians and soldiers, it is with interest that we notice that Britain never accepts proposals and offers made by France. Even when both Prussia and Austria thinks they are fair and adequate. We are left with a feeling that Britain does not want peace, and only a renewd war.

We hope that Prussia and Autria will use its influence with Britain to make them see the situation for what it is...

:D :D :D

Russia's sinister masterplan is unveiled...

Once again, we urge Britain to accept France's most reasonable offer.... :wallbash:

ahh, sunny Leipzig... well i assume so.

It's Britain's turn again, right?

Very well. In the interest of peace, we will accept the current terms:

500 gold over 10 turns
La Coruna, Granada and Cadiz will be incorporated to the Portugese dominion.

And Britain is always reluctant to accept France's offers, generally because they are insufficent.

Splendid Voltar :)

You will receive the first payment when it's my round, and the techs.

Good to have that settled, but you seem to have forgotten to post your turn. I'm going to be quite busy in the next couple of weeks, so would like to keep the game moving. And yes, i'm aware that i was responsible for it dragging a little earlier in the summer, for which i apologise unreservedly.
