Following the visit of the Russian Foreign Minister to Brazil a few weeks earlier and an unofficial visit by Mr. Putin the leaders of Russia and Brazil met in a small resort in Southern Brazil. There they discussed the future of the South American continent as well as of Brazil and the rest of the World now that the most powerful nation in SADETO has withdrawn from the alliance in much the same way that Russia withdrew from the CC two decades earlier. It seemes that this is the last page in a thirty year long Cold War between Russia and Brazil and it has ended in a renewed friendship between the two countries.
Over the short visit filled with formalities the leaders signed documents prepared for them by the ministers and diplomats. The Russian Federation and the newly free from SADETO Brazil signed a series of pacts that together were refered to as the Entente Cordiale, and in fact was a strong military alliance between the two nations in which both pledged to aid the other in war, to exchange technologies and to cooperate in almost all spheres from the cultural to the economic to space exploration.
As the two leaders joined together for a press conference they made it clear that they expect great progress from this Alliance and are looking forward to a brighter day for both countries. When answering questions they have made it clear that the alliance was going to be of a military sort, with nations very closely binded together in a common goal. One of the last comments made implied that far from any nation will be admitted into the Alliance but further comments were not made.
At the end of the visit the Russian leaders flew back to Russia acompanied by Brazilian generals and experts as the military headquarters of the Alliance were to be located in Russia. The main headquarters would remain in Brazil as the Brazilian President asumed the role of the interum secretary responsible for finalizing formalities.
And so, as the planes with the Russians left a new flag was lifted in two places around the world signaling a new age in international politics. The proud flag of the Entante flew over Rio de Janero and over the Kremlin alongside the national flags. Things were going to change.

The ICJ is here and ready for a ruling on the Colombian Panama situation, and the legality of Panama joining the USA. Colombia has agreed, once the USA agrees, if they do, then the hearings and deliberations can start.

No, Chile, nor any other nation, will agree to do joining as one single nation, Fascist generally leads to nationalism of the nation it is in, not of a whole continent. No, your reforms did not have the desired effect. Mainly because it was an non feasible plan in the first place. You were trying to blend a bunch of different cultures, different languages, etc. into one. It was simply never going to work in the first place. The economy stuff worked fine, because they were logical. But the idea of blending so many languages and cultures together was simply not happening, and those nations in SA were Fascist, or DemoFascist, which means they were encouraging nationalism of their nation.Part of your plan worked, Gelion, not the other though.

With ever-growing instability in the world the Combined Philippines Armed Forces found out they were woefully unprepared for any sort of war with any major power since of their lack of a good anti-tank weapon. This helped balance that with this new top of the line aircraft, equipped with full complement of anti-tank missiles and high caliber rounds. Also the use of radar jamming and flares made the aircraft nearly invisible to most targeting systems.
Ever since the first Philippines-Russian tensions the forces found out they needed a close air support craft. Their first plan was to make a plane (Similar to the A-10 Warthog in RL) but released that a stationary weapons platform could also be a multi-use copter for anti-infantry action. Very little was done until 1981 when a model was made of a helecopter named ATH-1 (Anti-Tank Helecopter), which was equipt with a 30 mm cannot and re-names Cash-1 (Close Air Support Helicopter). The helicopter was quickly produced and is now the main Tactical Air Vechile in The Philippines.

And guess what language is the most widely-spoken in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, etc, etc? Spanish. The only problem here is that, alas, Gelion is playing the Portuguese-speaking Brazil.

Ya, das pointed out a major hurdle. And yes, Spanish is probably the most widely spoken, but we must consider dialects, the aboriginals, and their loads of various languages. Look, my point is that one South American Culture and Language is not gonna happen, unless you kill everybody not of your culture, and that is very unlikely.

For one I thought I was good in making what didn't work - unting the states. Secondly, Goobs, Demofashism is not Fashism its more or less what US has today - hardline pro-government parties. In any case I wrecked what I have come to love, I cannot concentrate on more serious projetcs now, nor do I wish to fight for power.
Goobs this has been the best NES of this type I even participated in and I take some pride that your first NES was mine. You trully beat your master in this and I wish you even more success in the future.
I know what some will say "oh come on its only your alliance, look at CC, look at African Union". I know that and I could re-create it if I wanted to (on the basis of Brazil). But Goobs I feel you do not want me to unite the people's of South America and so my most important work was in vain. And thats a blow.
Anyways like I said I made some poor choices and I do not wish to walk the same road I did 30 years ago. It was a great experience and I wish you all good luck!
