4000 BC - I suspect everyone will take the default location. I wonder if everyone will get Masonry for popping the hut?
3500 BC - This is going to be one of the crammed large maps, I have already spotted another border. I have found Russia. Persia shows up at 3000BC. Egypt shows up at 2750 BC. Zulu show up in 2630 BC.
1250 BC (I) The Japanese have been destroyed! Ouch, I rarely see any civ die that early.
690 BC - Someone made first contact with Rome, either Russia or Persia did it. I then make contact with China from Rome - had to give them a tech, but they are way behind.
420 AD - The real wars begin - Egypt allies with Rome vs. us. I sign a deal with Russia to attack Egypt. 30 years later and China allies with Egypt vs. us.
460 AD - Our golden age begins. 20 years later and Zulu / Persia peace treaty - I have the hard decision on getting Persia involved. 10 years later and I pay Rome pocket change to end the phony war.
530 AD - Russia back stabs us, and signs a peace treaty with Egypt. 10 years later, and I sign a peace treaty with China - the only damage was I lost a couple of workers. I didnt even realize Egypt / Zulu were still at war, but then sign a peace treaty.
610 AD - Well the weak Egyptians pay the price - they are dead, no leader from the war

Well we get the prime target - Sun Tzu. Will the cascade let me get Sistine also?
700 AD - The luckiest suicide galley I have even had finds the other continent - first contact India. They are still in the ancient age. The rest of the civs are close to our continent is tech. I plan to hold off contract and barter till navigation.
860 AD - (I) Leo's Workshop is ours.
940 AD - The moment I have been waiting for - WAR, Russia starts the war. I pay Persia $300 to declare war on Russia. My problem is Russia is scattered all over the map, and I want to clean up the south first.
1260 AD - The solid Russians have been destroyed. I knew it would take awhile, to many southern cities. In addition, 3 scattered island cities, and core cities had an obscene amount of defenders. The good news - I now own The Pyramids, Sistine, The Great Lighthouse and a permanent source of spices.
(I) The English have been destroyed - the second civ destroyed by the AI.
1295 AD - OK, time for another war. I declare war on Persia, as they are small, but their cities will be productive. It was a short war that lasted until 1355 leaving them 2 odd location cities.
1395 AD - The next war begins, after the knights upgrade to cavalry and head to the south of the board. It takes just 2 turns to kill the Zulu.
1455 AD - The MPPs are starting to kick in, but China hasn't signed one. I will establish my base to attack Rome shortly. War is declared on China who dies in 1465 AD.
1520 AD - Factories start coming on-line, so the big push begins. I start with declaring war on Persia to get the one last city they own, and thanks to the RnG being rough they last until 1535 AD. However, since they had a MPP with the Iroquois, we are still at war with the Iroquois.
1525 AD - ToE completes - standard AT / Electronic grab.
1610 AD - I can tell the big event will begin, as India lands troops inside my territory. I sign a MPP with Greece to split the AI civs apart.
(I) How predictable, India declares war. How nice, Greece declares war on India. Well I didn't want this one, but Rome declares war on India. If the next couple of turns I get Greece and Rome declare war on the Iroquois.
1635 AD - I get to demand Rome leaves my territory, and war is declared

The bad news - Greece honors the MPP and declares war on us, even though they are currently supporting us vs. the Iroquois. The Romans are dead as of 1710 AD.
1776 AD - Domination victory is achieved.
Summary - I feel I could have done better, but I got another domination victory before tanks arrived

Final score = 4,852.
