Thank you for reworking the ugly yellow plains texture!:goodjob:
Could we please not call it "ugly" ? ;)
(I am not sure who created the old version we inherited from original TAC.)

Let us instead call it "not as awesome as the new version @Schmiddie has created now".
I just realized that we Germans really tend towards very precise long descriptions and words ... :think:

But jokes aside, I fully agree. :thumbsup:
I really like the graphical improvements @Schmiddie currently implements as well.

I really believe we have all Terrains the Original Colonization had - except Marsh. :confused:

I could swear that in Original Colonization there was also just one Terrain where you could get Cotton.
(I am not sure though if it was called "Plains" or "Prairie" ...)

I suppose it's time that I propose that we add it back though:)

So ok , what should that new Terrain be used for / what is its gameplay purpose? :dunno:
I currently see no need for it - but let us brainstorm.

If we really want to add further Terrains, we should do it now.
(Then I would not have to adjust all the maps twice in short time.)

Wasn´t it Prairie and Savannah where you could produce Cotton in the original Colonization?

You guys are right, there were actually Plains (lots of Food) in Original Colonization! :crazyeye:
(see here - it is the best Source I know.)

And there were both Marsh (a little Tobacco) and Swamp (a little Sugar) as well.
(That is why I always had "Marsh" in mind.)

Savannah I had also known for sure that is why I had readded it in RaR.

Summary:

From the Original Colonization Terrains we still miss Marsh and Plains.
I am actually really ashamed that I had forgotten about Plains. :blush:

Hi Folks,

I have slightly amended the Trapper Hut and Camp. Has a campfire now and fits better into the terrain (this latter change might be hardly noticed - only if camp/hut will be established on a bite more rocky ground.

Hi Folks,

I have finished a massive amendment of farms, plantations and crops today.

- Effects and new eye candies (chimney smoke, grinder, racks etc.) have been added
- All farms and plantations have artstyles now (however, mainly only devided Spain/Portugal and all other European countries).
- PlotLSystem has been added or adjusted for all crops which are still in the PlotLSystem (i.e. coca and cocoa needs to be added as a next step).
- Small and big farms and plantations have been adjusted so that they now have ArtStyles, i.e. some of the graphics have changed a little bit.
- Hut has been added as a standard building for small plantations.
- Graphic for working and non working improvements have been adjusted.
- Farm fields have been improved.
- Plantations and farms not use ContourGeometry and fit better to the ground - or they should, the system has its failings.

Is the "Vanilla Weaver" graphic not used at all anymore?
Or do you plan to still use it for another Unit?
