[Graphic Mod] Varietas Delectat v9.2 [civ specific unit sets]

that seemed to have worked. I went into my documents and under the civ4 bts folder and saw that i still had VD even though I had just uninstalled it. I click on the uninstall icon in said folder and it did nothing... so I just deleted the whole folder. then I reinstalled it.

I have only launched it once but the problem did not happen. Thanks again Avian for the help.
BTW I am trying to get a better comp to run Quot Capita till the modern ages... what type of Proc and how much mem would you suggest for it?
 
DT, try this... edit the Mod's INI file and where it says use CustomAssets and CustomArt, and change both values to 0, then rerun the mod.

Can I ask what the goal of this is? Does it make the mod run smoother or somesuch? I'm still having problems using the LH component and had to uninstall it. :( It would be great if there were some way to get it to function reliably with my system.

Sometimes custom assets can mess with the way things in a mod are set up. So disabling custom assets can isolate those problems.
 
I just wanted to let you know that I am using this set for my middle-eastern civs in my mod:

Its a mix of achilleszero's team-colored Xebecs and his skin on the old Xebec as well as the EE2 Algerian Carrack. I thought you might want to use these in this mod. If you need the files and XML I can send them to you or post them or whatever.
 
Is there any difference besides the orientation of the middle sail between the Galleon and Frigate?

Go to the "Some Random Sailing Ships" thread in Units forum and close to the last post youll see an attatchment for team colored xebecs. That will have the ones hes using for frigate and galleon. To get the SoTL, just take the xebec_texture256 out of those and put it into the middle east/chebeque that you have in vd7.5 and youll have it:D

Hi all. Long time ago I merged Varietas Delectat in my Earth 35 Civilizations Mod and it works perfectly.

Once I added new Modular Civilizations and Leaderheads something goes wrong:

For example I added a Modular Iroquois civilization with the Colonization's Logan leaderhead.

I added the tags in CivilizationInfos
<ArtStyleType>ARTSTYLE_SOUTH_AMERICA</ArtStyleType> <UnitArtStyleType>UNIT_ARTSTYLE_NATIVE_AMERICAN</UnitArtStyleType>

All works fine BUT some units, for example the Axeman, looks like the vanilla version. :confused::confused::confused:

Any chance to fix this???

Avain, I need the files for Modern Era and Blood Effects. Do you have them archived, or can you upload to the SVN to the Branches\Modern_Era and Branches\Blood_Effects folders?

Also theres probably not a Native american axeman in the ArtStyleType because of the dog soldier.

Yeah, Achilleszero you are right. I realized that this is why they are like in the vanilla version.
Is there a way to let the "other modular native civilizations" have a axeman that looks like the dog soldier? Wich file to edit? Thx.
