1 first look video per week along with updated game guide on that leader + civ
5 New civ reveals when introducing exploration age and modern ages.

So with that I assume around 40-ish civs in the base game, not including the preorder bonuses

The Civ VI first looks would just drop without warning. they’re ads, ultimately. Kind of silly to make an ad for an ad.

At one point during Civ 6 marketing (RnF, I think), they did try teasing what civ they would do next, but it didn't last.

The one on Spain will presumably drop very soon, if they're specifically mentioned in the second First Look.

Looks like the four demo leaders will be tackled first (Amina and Ashoka next in some order), then Benjamin Franklin, Tecumseh, Napoleon, Confucius and Himiko, and then we'll finally be treated to some new leaders I guess!

It's possible we'll get some exploration age reveal stream before adding more Exploration civs to the site (Shawnee are exception, because they are part of preorder bonus). So, I'd expect more antiquity civs first.

Abbasids were mentioned in Hetshepsut's FL. I don't think they indicate which order civs will be revealed.
