Greetings!

Thank you very much for the kind welcome and for taking the time to point me in the right direction. I look forward to learning more about NESing.

Yes, I live in San Diego (actually in a nearby city). However, I lived in Japan (for many, many years), attended a Japanese University, and am bilingual (Japanese/English).

Yay! I feel like I'm being useful! :D

Probably the best way to learn is to join a NES and get help from more experienced players. Join in as a small nation possibly.

@Ronin, are you really 61 years old?

New thread with the actual NES seems like a good idea. In fact I think the guide needs tobe finished sooner or later in any form....

What about the RPG NES? Is it still living?

So... Are you planning on joining our fun? :)

Yeah, most NESes don't handle that much detail. But knowing how to plan for an invasion will come in handy every time. ;)

I am seriously considering it. You have a very congenial group which I think contributes immeasurably to the fun. I am going to lurk a bit longer though as most of my Civ time right now is devoted to helping El Justo get his new scenario out.

Well, take your time. The NES forum is going anywhere. We've had an exponential growth since the beginning, and on the plus side, most of those who quit eventually return.

Oh, I sort of forgot to tell you: NESing can be quite addictive. :D

You dolt, we're like Big Tabacco, we tell him how cool it is and AFTER he starts tell him its Addicting, and can cause Lung Cancer

Hey, now you blurted out about the cancer stuff as well! What happened to strategy, everyone? We're supposed to handle new converts by the book!
