Nope. I don't need the whole world being able to track me. Real name requirements and all that rot. I'll stick with CFC OT and IRC for my tight little circle of internet chums.
Google has suspended accounts because Google believed they were not using their real name.[47][48] Google VP Bradley Horowitz claims that a violation of the terms of service will only affect the service whose terms were violated, not any of the other services that Google provides.[49] It is reported that in one case[50] this resulted in the account holder being temporarily locked out of all of Google services.
On July 22, Google+ began a large-scale suspension of accounts which did not meet its naming standards

"Google Profiles is a product that works best in the identified state. This way you can be certain you’re connecting with the right person, and others will have confidence knowing that there is someone real behind the profile they’re checking out. All I have to do is go to the Members List and type in 'downtown'. How hard could that be?There isn't really a need for me. I'm a really active facebook user (for fun, and for work), and there hasn't been a reason for me to invest more time in learning another social network. It's not like I'm a hard guy to find on the internet as it is.
