- There is no orders lock. If you don't give in any orders by January 8, you don't do anything that turn.
- Money not used is banked automatically.
- Foreign nations *might* give you a bonus next turn, they'll message you this turn. Don't worry.

The Civil War in Ubangi seems ready to start. Communists, doomsayers and Islamists are all converging on the wartorn nation to make it their own.

GARDIENS IMPERIAL - Ignoring the legacy of the Emperor?
The Gardiens Imperial, a monarchist grouping within Ubangi, seem to wish to reinstate the Gobi dynasty. The Gobi "dynasty" had one emperor, Sese, who has been compared to Idi Amin and Sapurmurat Niyazov. Some of his feats include:

• Banning Islam, banks, trains, and the color yellow
• Rewriting the calendar so that 1 January, 0 AD was his birth date
• The acquisition of all the gold in Ubangi to buy a fleet of cars, which he then banned anyone from gazing upon

How the GI thinks the Gobis might be sane is unknown.

Southern Offensive

100 brave men of the Islamic State of Ubangi shall begin a Southern Offensive to liberate the oppressed Muslims of Ubangi and bring death to the infidels. Jihad is a holy duty for all Muslims and all Muslims should take part in it. It is our holy duty to spread Islam and exterminate all non-Muslims. We shall burn their villages and crucify them! We shall bury alive the soldiers of the decadent government! We shall create an Islamic Caliphate in which the Sharia will be the ultimate law! We shall glorify the name of Prophet Mohamed! I received an email from my mother today, which is no mean feat for a woman her age! She writes that she is doing well, and I believe her. I have more money on the desk in front of me than all the money I made as a laborer. 22 years of my old wages lay here on my desk, and more will be coming! My faith tells me I must give this money back to the community as charity, but reality forces my hand at every turn. How can I give a dollar to the needy if it must be spent purchasing bullets from Western arms dealers?

I've come to loathe those men and their agents. They speak of the conflict in dry, businessy manner. People dying and starving and being raped are no more relevant to them as their big houses in America or the UK are to me, and that makes me hate them even more. Some day, I will pay back these men, these arms dealers, who flood the country with guns so that every Muslim, atheist, and anarchist with a death wish can get one on the cheap. Bullets have become cheaper than food.

I wish give back when the war is over, but my people need more than just a spiritual leader. They need a warrior to protect them, and I must take up arms to do so, even if it costs me my soul."
