Help on Deity

Hello everyone,
this is my first post.
I’ve very bad knowledge of English, so I hope someone can understand me .

I play since little time deity level, but I always lose .
I gain at emperor level.
Now, is time to ask help…

How can I continue this game?
Can I overcome?

I can go straight to liberalism, spot cottages and try a cultural victory or fight against Washington, but I’m running to low on hammer, I don’t like war and I’m a very bad general….
I can also go to Hereditary Rule/ Representation, Free Speech, Caste System, Mercantilism, Pacifism to have a lot of gp, but I never tried this

Very few people play at this level which might be why no-one has responded.

Also as far as I know, there is a very big random factor in Diety.

go to the game of the month forum. There is currently a diety culture challenge going on. Loads of disucsion there.

I haven't looked at the save and am not a deity player myself, but pretty much if you win consistently on immortal then you can manage deity if you get lucky enough. Deity is a lot of luck as mice said, and often theres not much you can do.

As for liberalism race, some games you can get it while in others a lead AI gets it in 300 AD- it can fluctuate a lot. I'd probably not try to get it.

Go for the cultural is my recommendation unless you've already conquered some people. I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to get the production needed for conquest/domination if you're already low, and probably won't conquer enough to vote yourself into a diplo victory. I don't know where you stand in tech, but space race would be tough with low production.

deity is blech. I can actually beat immortal playing a surprisingly straight up game, but deity for atleast me, u need crazy AI abuse strategies.
