Helpful hint about this site

Speaking of picture threads...don't leave OT without contributing to "DRAW Your Own Story II!" ;)

And most importantly, be sure to make a regular habit of question threads like this where we can all get away with spamming. The only three things we like to here are play Civ and post a lot. Nothing else matters...including math apparently.

The first thing I owuld suggest is that posters get aquainted with The Forum Rules.

Actually, that goes for the chatroom or any fora. Any problems, then use the 'report post to moderator' link.:)

Actually, "Don't spam at all" would be better advice. And I believe that there are rules that state no posts between pictures in the picture threads. :hmm:

Everyone tries NOT to spam, but everyone slips up. It just matters how much.

And not trying to dirty diss a mod (don't hurt me :p), the no more than two off topic posts in the pic threads is in the sticky at the top of OT. Check for yourself:

Also, turn your PM option off to prevent moderator's warnings. :D

Which is also a good way to get your ban extended... or be banned...

My apologies.

However, it is still best to post pics, rather than push the envelope of the rules.

It's all cool, ainwood. :D

Yes, you're correct. Posting pics is better than silly things like "Lookin' good!" But I'm saying if you MUST say something (pleasant! Otherwise really cool guy will make an apperance), you can if it's in the rule.

When in chat, if WF is in there being a problem child, leave. It's only going to get worse... :p And tell Chieftess what's up if something's going wrong in chat. That woman is tough. :goodjob:

Why put "some poster" if you leave the other one as me :p

I'll add...

1. You don't need to make a new post for each response (with quote) you intend to make in a thread with a debate. There are a number of such lamers I'd ban for that. The same goes for those people who post a new post if they forgot to put something in a post they made all of 60 seconds ago, simply edit your old post.

2. Try to make sure that if you start a new thread that it isn't already in existance e.g use the search facility.

3. Get posting and keep posting!

:)

How will turning off your PMs prevent moderator warnings? :p

99% of the time, I put out my markers out there, in the open, in nice big bold dark red for you. :p

Yes! This one drives me crazy. I'm sure I'm guilty of having committed this crime in my early days, but unless you keep your head in a cold, dark place, you soon come to notice the 'Edit' button. When people make a post right after their own post, without having given anyone time to post something else, I always assume they're spamming to boost their post count. Lucky for them I'm not a moderator. :p If someone else has posted, and yours is no longer the last post in the thread, then it's perfectly acceptable (as far as I'm concerned) to make a new post to add a new point. But I really hate seeing two posts in a row by the same person. That's just wrong.

CFC is also not a Republic, nor a monarchy, nor communism, nor any of those CIV3 and C3C governments, except "despotism" and Thunderfall is the despot. Enlightened, etc. Sort of like the King of Siam in the musical. You may remember the film with Yul Brenner. Its his ball, and he can take it away if he feels like it.

Any girl who will do it for peanuts, will go mad if you wave a banana at her..

Not a good hint?

Arg

OK, what about dont spam

stick to the point

OK; what about "Stop whining about not getting a Custom Avatar until you get three hundred posts and wait like the rest of us, because you are not so special" :p

u be queit!

By the time I get a pm telling me I'm banned, I'm already banned so PM's on or off don't really matter.

I prefer to tell people they are idiots if they are rather than 'Report Post'... Might be a good idea to not do like me.

Don't spam? That's all any of us do. Spampage.
