Hermetic lore for FFH DI4 (not for use outside this game)

- Camulos's proposed interventions :nuke:

Verdian has raised a dersire for the interventions to not allways be directed at Gerran and i wanted some clarfication before i type up my quest tomorrow for stevenson (crazed scout - bear hunter)

In reagards to the Tower of Arawn has anything been decided on that? Is it now becoming the spire of rage? My intervention was going to have a Harbringer seek to bring out the choas within Stevenson and encourage him to burn and pillage the area around the tower (Can towers themselves be pillaged? - if not i was going to add farms or towns surrounding the tower to indicate their growth - perhaps also a held worker named Rose)

Any problems this could cause please raise them now. I'll be checking the most recent save and intervening tomorrow sometime.

-

Another more narritive intervention was going to be done to raise the ire between either the dwarven or elvish nations. Show their antagonistic ways to the Grigori hopefully culminating in a War between them if Camulos has his way.

-

Any other interventions might be mild or in response to other Gods. I do want to get intervention going that focus more on other civs then the grigori and the other gods. to make Erebus seem like a living world.
I like all your points. Elven civil war is like a must have.

As for Tower of Arawn - Aeron requested to give final answer to Spire of Rage->Tower of Arawn idea! I really encourage you to eithe use already existing fature (Tower of A.) or move the Spire to any other location (preferably unrevealed yet)

Kilmorph - in fact I like the way the mountain range was extended (south of Khazad). I think you may keep it even after your quest is done. It's up to you, but I find it a little strange if Kilmorph were to remove such massive mountains (at least without a sound narrative)

Oghma - I see the new civ as a flavour thing. MIlitarily and politically weak, unwilling to expend, but technologicaly superb. Was that your intention? As for now they are the 1st military power and their score will go high in the incoming round. I know they probably will not expand at all (at least not before optics), but still, I will watch them, and very probably I will see the reasons to nerf them a bit at some point.

Well well. The Grigori have certainly NOT pleased me. And in publicly shaming and punishing my newest follower, they have angered me. The first divine retaliation is at hand.

I will need Thomas, or someone else, to do my intervention. Until my exams are over, I can't focus on how to try to navigate it to load it myself.

The Divine Retaliation has two parts: harming him, and boosting the AI.

Affecting him: I give his Adventurer the Bounty Hunter Promotion. And, as was supposed to be done last round, Bounty Hunter goes to his starting warrior as well. Also, after the last round and the betting, he only owes me 7 Gold to be removed.

Now, and until I am salved, every Grigori unit that takes Bounty Hunter will be cursed with Withered and Diseased. And every Hero unit that doesn't take Bounty Hunter will be Withered, Diseased, and Weak every round of interventions, until his shows proper respect to the gods. He is not Cassiel's Grigori: he has opened himself to all the Gods, and thus we all have a claim on him.

None of these are fatal, for the effected. In fact, all it really is is abysmal healing rate and a 20% penalty to units with Bounty Hunter. All can eventually be cured, or the Pool of Tears found. But it diminishes the usefulness of his primary warmongers, except as expensive diseased corpses. He may be fine with that. Peacefulness would be a virtuous thing to do. But if he wants and wants and wants his Adventurers as a tool of his greed and expansion...

He knows where to come.

Also, as per intention last time, 4 wolves need to be placed outside Grigori borders. Promotions (Strong?) are optional, but it would be nice if they could run around inside his cultural borders...

Affecting his rivals: I gift a merchant stall into every foreign capital of Neutral or Lower. While this is a lot of buildings overall, the AI is rather weak economy wise in many respects, and this will give them a boost. It also allows them to start pumping Great Merchants, raises the corruption level, etc.

I also gift the hippus with calendar, if they do not already have it. If they do not already have a cash crop in their fat cross, I gift one Reagents to them, at the most lucrative spot possible (on a river, in a plains, etc.).

One question for the AI would be: how much would be fair? Would, at a later turn (100? 200?) you mind me adding a Bazaar of Mammon to their richest cities? That would give them a stronger economic base, and make them able to afford more mistakes.

Also, question in general: can the crime rate be altered, except by buildings?

I could make your changes later today, as I have a few things to fix with my quest myself, or Dagda could review everyone's changes and alter them as they were supposed to be, bug fix, etc.

If he hasn't said anything by the time I get home, and no on else has the save, I'll steal it for a few moments and make the necessary changes for both of us.

Please and thank you. When you do, I will write my story piece, and how he can appease me.

A proposal for a future end-game quest: would we like him to go through levels of hell? We have a lot of ocean we can work with, forcing him through various levels for some end-game goal. Mulcarn, entered by portal to hell would be ice mountains leading into tundra and marshes. Mammon would be a huge city that's really, really, good for money/specialists. Etc.

Question to Tali: You seem to be, lore wise, my main enemy. Shall we war?
Tali cares little for war, as it requires things like discipline, responsibility, duty, timeliness.

Just expect Tali's desires to run cross-purpose to yours most of the time.

Yes, I believe that can do. I will be editing my post so that it agrees with all stated, and plan on changing the quest. (From taking Spire of Rage to aking Arawn's tower.) So it will seem as though Aeron is useing Gerran to achieve his objectives.

And to enunciate on the war between Lugus and Aeron-

The war will consist of us each trying to lead Gerran down a different path. Aeron has already displeased with the injuring of the boy. Mostly random events of sort.

So do you have any objections to one of Camulos's Harbringers tempting Stevenson to the ways of War - Pillaging and burning the land surounding the tower and then claiming what needs be to himself?

I figure in this regard our aims are the same. yourself for the rage in both parties and myself for training up Stevenson for future Wars

Yep, I intended for that civ to be strong Technologically, but not much else... and unable to expand well.

Yes, I have no qualms to this. Maybe an alliance between Rage and War? Could make Gerran's life slightly more hellish. :D

I believe the phrase would be 'an alliance of convience' as we are both Chaotic gods that could snap at any moment  :p

Going to do a 'Got it' in the main forum in a second when i've checked everything. Do you wish me to get rid of the spire of rage then? and should i give any defenders to the Tower of Arawn instead? at the moment the plan is just to add in some improvements to pillage and a held worker named Rose (the one you mentioned previously) perhaps also a held barbarian boat near the tower with the name "Arawns Dirge" to show how survivors could escape to the Vampire lands. Anything else added would be for you to smooth out your own plans.

I assume no one has edited in Dean the Young's changes yet? If not, I have a few things to edit with my quest, and could do Dean's changes at that time.

I'll try to sneak in there (should only take a few moments) after Ravus finishes his changes.

I was very much planning to make life diffcult for Junil if he didn't have too much of a problem with that. (I also assume he will love to lead the bannor on a crusade of any civ i attempt to adopt like the Dovello)

Is that a challenge...?

Above all do not forget that the AI is as dumb as mud. They WILL find this gate, they WILL expend all of their resources hopeless tossing armies of minions at the gatekeeper, and this WILL unbalance it all.

No, the Necrototem I placed means that the only units that could get through would need courage. The AI sometimes gets it, but not until very late.

Lade is it OK, if I remove it for time being? I'm not against the idea, but timing. Objections?

Sure, its not a big deal.

Please go ahead with the matters stated above.

Take it away, Bootysuvius!

Let's see... I don't suppose the god of life would want to form an alliance? With all the chaotic guards running around...
