Doesn't that sound like way more fun than global warming? Monsters and nukes have better graphics. And before anybody objects, let's make it a check box option.

Would you go with classic Godzilla (who is apparently modern Godzilla also) or the one off remake fast Godzilla, which would be more like a strength fifty amphibious panther? I was thinking classic Stomp-pillage towns out of existence, throwing tanks at the Armies who tried to stop him, plus torching airplanes and sound effects.

We'd need flaming fields, forests and oil well graphics, though.

He'd target the city that made the most pollution, trash the fat cross, then stomp one city improvement per turn.

The Vietnam War:
The Khmer empire was split into two civilizations, North and South Vietnam. The South peace vassaled to the US. When the North invaded the US had to protect its vassal so it DOW North Vietnam and sent a large stack of marines. Unfortunately, the US had to deal with a large number of Woodsmen and guerilla infantry and got bogged down. TO get reinforcements the US drafted many units and ended up with too much unhappiness in its cities. Meanwhile China and Russia were gifting North Vietnam units so it could stand up to America.
The US knowing it couldn't win, ended the war and let South Vietnam get taken by the North.

I think Abu Bakr Bagdadi from ISIL (new islam state in sysria and iraq) is playing a very good game of civ with advanced modern era start.
He did an unexpected rush on his neighbours and already has some sources of oil.
