Because it probably does, what'd I do wrong here?

are the both nifskope shots? just click on the skin texture and see what is diffent - it might be the materials properties. but the faces seem a little different so maybe its the attached anim. lets se an ingame shot before we start monkeying with other stuff.

Well these are both NifSkope shots, I haven't swapped anything yet. The one on the right is the latest version of our Hitler, the one on the left is basically the same model but with the hair and mustache changed. I had to throw in some art so you could see what it looked like (so maybe I didn't put it all in or something). I'll go for the in game shot now. Nobody (Smeagol, Bernie, etc.) delete anything they've posted until we get this right.

I must say, this is starting to look ridiculously good. If we can just get the armband to look right (its more difficult than I thought it would be) this will be, and I have no problems saying this, perfect.

I would agree that its going to look perfect! I'll want the last blend for posterity :)
This is why I love collaboration LHs - it brings out the best skills in people. And Capo as you fully know doing a LH solely by yourself is tough - expecially with texturing.
 
Here it is! Looks great so far, there are obviously a few issues though;

1) BG isn't fit properly

2) Still has that blue lighting around his face and hands

3) The armband isn't snugly fit on his arm

The Capo....did u see the lighting in nifviewer TUT?...should help with that blue shadow issue :)

EDIT: can you rig the armband to the arm in blender?....that way u can see if each vertice is attached to the proper bone.....
 
I use NifSkope so I didn't even look... you could always just TELL me what to do. :mischief:

it's pretty straight forward and u can sort of see the results...although there is always some difference for the nifviewer and in game....

I got rid of the blue lighting, so now the only problems are getting armband to fit right (I don't know if you guys are noticing, but see where it kind of hangs off the side of his arm rather than around it?) and to fix the bg. Then I think we're finally finished with this bastard!

It looks good except the cheeks should be fatter.
 
I mean it's still the best Hitler out there, but it could be the best Hitler ever for the rest of eternity if the cheeks were fatter.
