I know, I know. This 'what if' is probably the most discussed in what if history forums. Here is a documentary that puts the German "Operation Sealion" into practice. Very informative.
Our grand old fleet would have stopped the Krauts in their tracks. When Goering failed to win airpower that doomed the German effort to invade England. What I don't understand is why we allowed the Germans to land on Norway when we could have cut them apart, and blockaded Germany like in World War I, the Royal Navy was nigh invincible after all.
Or could have blockaded Norway and cut off the German troops and oil there. Broken into the Baltic Sea and supplied Russia through there. The mines and uboats would have been a hinderance but I trust that could have been dealt with.
The Communist Party does not fear criticism because we are Marxists, the truth is on our side, and the basic masses, the workers and peasants, are on our side.
