I got no orders from Russia, Canada and AST&D, you have kept some econ from last turn but not all, if i get no order this turn I will make the nation an NPC.
News :
Russia succesfuly lands a colony on Mercury
The president announced that our space organisation has sucesfully landed and build an outpost on Mercury, one of the least hospitable planets in the solar system. This has proved critics wrong, however not everyone is celebrating as the temperature o Mercury causes the metal to expand and shink, thus weakening the walls, no one can say if and how long before it is safe.
UISM invades Niger, West African nation rally to defend Niger
After an unsuccesful use of propoganda, the UISM invaded Niger and were well on their way to victory when the nations of West Africa began defending thier neigbour. Luckly, fighting is taking place in the Sahara meaning redued civilian casulties. No side has a clear lead oon the other as their militaries are equaly matched.
The PMF sends a ship to Europa
In a brave move the PMF has sent ships towards Europa, one of Jupiter's larger moons, to colonise it. Not only will this be the first colony outside the Asteriod belt it will also be putting the first men on Europa, before now only robot have set foot on the icy moon. The only real danger on the year long flight is the Asteriod belt, however scientist are quite confident that the shuttles will pass through with little or no damage.
USA unveils ODSTs
The USa has shown it's Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) to the world, this newest branch of the US military outstips all of it's competitors in skill and strength. Armed with muliple weapons they can withstand greater umbers and analyst say they can fight and win against Marines with ease.
Martian population triples!
The population of Mars has triple in the last 6 months form 300 to over 1000. This is the result of increased coloniseation from the USA, Canada and the EU, in addition it is known that the UISM has also sent a colony ship to Mars and it is expected to arrive at the end of the year.
Civil Unrest on the Moon
250 people demonstrated at the Chinese government not giving them any say on how their colony is run, the Chinese military was unsure how to handle the situation. Some troops opened fire on the crowed killing 14 and injuring about 40 people, after this some extremeist are demanding independance from Earth.

well, if you asking how many [US] mars colonie swill be opend, the number has yet to be determnied, though the US's current colony agenda is to estbalish a third colony on mars next turn, and that at least 5 total US colonies should be on Mars- after all, as the biggest backer sof the "Green Planet" Martian terraformation project, it wouldnt re right for the US to have to rely on other nations doing its work for it.
To that end, open as many colonies as you wish to help in the terraformation process- the more colonies you have, the more land you own, thus the greater the responsibility to aid in the terraformation process.

So we woudl ove your help on the project, and your current colony ship is welcomed- in fact, as a gesture, we will let your own colony be established before the next US one,. that will be launched (and will arrive on the same turn) set down
