HOF Challenge Series IX Discussion Thread

I don't know, it should be easy enough to check if you have researched BW at the end of the game or not. Some special condition can be enabled to spice it up like conquest game, highest score win.
The purpose of challenger is not making in the hof table, but exploring unusual settings possibilities and see who can adapt the best strategy, at least that's how i see it.

maybe it would be, but the suggestion doesn't state this rule in any way and it has to be very precisely stated how and when can be BW reached.

We can't set up games to check these things, best not to set things up around this.

Yes, this is why I tried to suggest something like this. Choosing a PHIL leader instead of Joao is certainly OK too. (Btw no BW by the end of the game is probably a bit too harsh )

As a feedback on the previous series: I joined in kind of late and didn't have time to do all games but I had a lot of fun while playing -- in fact, much more than I anticipated . Reading all the comments on the games was informative there should be more of it Thanks for organizing it all.

otherwise except for the OCC diplomatic madness seems all other setups be very winnable, tough to judge if I even will finish at least one game :-D my civ mood is kind of sinusoid.

I don't think I'll ever complete a marathon game no matter the settings. I just can't stomach that speed. I actually forgot to finish #6...had a game very close to the end.

Once again Tachy makes us all look like silly little serfs .... Congrats! (I thought I had the culture one locked up even though I new it could be beat )

I was planning on completing the series, but RL got the better of me and I ended up with too little spare time for a marathon deity space game.

Looking forward to challenge X. Hope some more HOF veterans will be playing more than a couple games!
