Perhaps there are 2 different entries for the fullscreen setting in the ini file, so it randomly picks one?
I would think that the Domestic advisor would be the worst. The Foreign Advisor is probably up there too. Both have more tabs that the stock version. Civ4lerts and Autolog both add additional event handlers so there would be some overhead there.Which HOF mod components use the most memory? I ask, because my games seem to become more unstable with the HOF mod on.
I'm using 1.61.010, and I set up the G-Minor game (Monty/Oasis/etc).
I check, and all victory conditions are enabled. I start the game, and I get the red text that says this game is ineligible.
Have you installed any mod into the installed Asset (under Program Files) folders? (Vanilla Assets are shared with Warlords.) Civscale is a common cause of this type of thing. And now Warlords says my Assets have been modified. >_<
No, there was a change to the UpdateScreen function. Look for 'HoF Mod V1.61.011/V2.08.004' comment.@Denniz - the latest update fixed the sorting of the hammer column in the domestic advisor. What was the code change that fixed that issue? I looked at the code and the only difference that I could find was that you deleted a space at the end of a description ... something like "Production " to "Production". Was that it?
How long should I wait between map generations before giving up and aborting it? It's generated one map and has been sitting there for about 20 minutes now not doing anything.
Press Alt-X to stop MapFinder

It's been about an hour since I started running it. Does it normally take this long to generate maps?

You may need to uninstall Vanilla and Warlords, delete anything left behind in Program Files and My Documents\My Games, and then reinstall and repatch both.
I think we all ready talked about Lock Modifed Assets being checked, didn't we? You are not using CivScale or Axleman's Hotseat Fix, either right? Send us a savegame file to hof.civfanactics@gmail.com. Maybe we can figure out what's going on.I did that and now it still says the same thing.
Bah. I have no other mods in my /Civ4/ or /Civ4/Warlords/ directory other than the deafult ones and 2.08.004.
Ah well. Thanks.![]()
I would try re-installing. good luck. Can someone tell me what to do or direct me to a post that covers this problem when launching mapfinder? Thanks
