It is anti-Jewish, which is something other Semitic peoples do often and with enthusiasm.
It's more likely I-wish-it-happened. They accuse the Jews of inventing a story to garner sympathy. This is very common in the Middle East.

I know what you're saying. In a vacuum, it doesn't have to be. It is inherently anti-semetic in the sense that it denies the truth and history of a people. It is not inherently anti-semetic in the sense that disagreeing with what happened doesn't mean you are against a people.
The logical vacuum space of ideas is not where the story ends. In the real world we live in, holocaust denial is part of a bigger picture and often a tool to an end.

Many holocaust deniers are semitic... The holocaust is about Jews and for some reason Jews are the only semites. Kinda creates some interesting mental gymnastics when other semites are the holocaust deniers. And then we're told its anti-semitic to mention the other victims of the Nazis too, so the holocausts experienced by others are to be denied lest we become holocaust deniers.

Jews are not the only Semites. IIRC Arabs, Palastinians and Syrians are Semitic peoples. Arabic is definitely considered a Semitic language. Numerically, Jews are a small fraction of the group.

In English, antisemitism means the hatred of Jews. Pointing out that 'Semite' technically or archaically includes non-Jews is like saying that, technically, happy heterosexuals should count as 'gay people'. It's disingenuous to cling to a dictionary definition when usage has moved past it.

You, in your entire life, have never once used the word "semite" in any context except to complain about the term antisemitism. You say Somali, Arab, Jew, etc. But never Semite. So please stop with this fake dumb semantic argument. This thread could actually be interesting.

It is definitely not archaic. It is not uncommon for an anti-Semite to hate both Jews and Muslim.

Thats not true, I've used the term quite a bit... one of my hobbies is studying semitic religions and mythology (among others) and debating them here and the semitic peoples are easily over-represented in my library. You call it a fake dumb semantic argument. How do you think all the semites you've defined out of existence feel about that? I think they'd give you the middle finger. And you do it in the name of combating anti-semitism? Well, why not... Lex said it was anti-semitic to mention the slaughter of non-Jews too, even other semites apparently.
