Seriously! It's similar to the whole "If 3rd world people didn't work in sweatshops, they wouldn't have a job at all." line of reasoning. If they didn't work in sweatshops they'd be doing something else, no more, no less (and if they could do something else without 1st World Subsidies crowding them out, they would.)
