Monarch is where I usually start to have problems, so I need a bit of guidance for this game. I'm playing Elizabeth on Monarch/Continents. In the save file I attached I started on the end of an island with Hamurabi to the north of me. I founded my 4-5 cities fast with a lot of chop rushing and also did the oracle CoL slingshot to get a religion and shrine. After that was done I started amassing an axeman army to hit Babylon. Annoyingly, I found out later that the Babylon UU is an archer with +50% vs melee lol. So anyways I managed to take two of their main cities with quite a few losses, but it seems like it was worth it.
Now am I not sure where to proceed. Do I keep pushing to take their cities? Try to make them a vassal? (I havent played with vassals before). I used my 2nd great prophet to start a golden age to try to boost production for another push. Should I mass produce something other than the axemen? I also worry about the Ethipians to the north of them, they seem to be doing pretty well.
Well I guess my plan right now is to try to push another few cities and then build up my economy/infrastructure.
Any ideas of what I should be do or anything that I am doing wrong? I need to start whipping my cities but I always forget to micromanage lol.
