Never ever order a well done steak unless you really want to annoy the chefs. It is a waste of good food.

Goodness how they ranted in my old work :p
 
Gotta admit that I've never heard of "blue" before. Is that raw?

I like mine rare. My ideal steak is a thick cut that is seared on the outside and bloody on this inside. Get your grill up to around 300-350 degrees and about 7 minutes per side.

Blue is actually not raw, it's between raw and rare. Just toss it very briefly on the grill, less than 30 secondes per side.

I thought it was: Not mooing, but only had a flame waved threateningly in its general direction.

Medium Rare for me. And oddly enough, one of my fav steakhouses to go to locally is Outback. For my experience, the Outback has better steaks than many higher price restaurants in the area. I have never been disappointed.

Medium rare to medium, anyone got any tips to tell how it's done to perfection, I don't want the meat to be mostly red but I dont want it to be overcooked either, you can say good by to half the flavour then. I like it cooked in Garlic and black pepper sometimes too it adds a nice little flavour to what is already cow perfection :)
 
I like mine Rare-Medium Rare :goodjob: . My wife likes her's cooked until it
resembles shoe leather, and my daughter likes hers slightly less cooked than
my wife :mad: . My mother on the other hand....... likes her's with the horns
knocked off and butt wiped-- ready for eating :eek: .
 
There's something unappetizing about blood gushing out of my meat, so I usually just get medium.
