Phonetically spell out how you pronounce usernames. I am interested to read the different pronunciations everyone will have. Also write how you intended for your username to be pronounced.

Takhisis -> Tack - hee - sis
Borachio -> Bore - ahk - eee - oh
rugbyLEAGUEfan -> rug - bee - LEEG - fan
hobbsyoyo -> hobbs - yo - yo

Inb4: usernames -> u - zer - nayms

Takhisis -> Taxes
Borachio -> Boar - Awtch - Eeo
hobbsyoyo -> Hobbs - Yo - Yo
Synsensa -> Sin - Senza (like La Senza except without the La)

virote_considon = vi-hhhhhhro*-tay
synsensa = synaesthesia
hobbsyoyo = hobbsy-boyo

*-in case you didn't get the feel of this, my tongue is at the back of my throat for this, like they do in spanish.

Mise = Mez for some reason,
Hobbsyoyo - Hobb-SIE-YOYO

I imagine Borachio to be bore-ay-shee-oh, myself. Rhymes with fellatio, kind of.

Virote_Considon -> Veer - oat - ee - con - sid - on
Quackers -> kwack - ers
Mise -> Myz
Cutlass -> cut - lass (soft 'a', it sounds like something between lAss and less, don't know how to write it)
Crezth -> creh - zith
Zelig -> zay - lig or mars
Patroklos - ee - gull - fas

I'd like to know how you are actually supposed to say Crezth. I used to think it was spelled Czerth and the "cz" was a soft c, like an s. So I was pronouncing it as "sirth" for awhile.

I traditionally use a short 'a' sound when pronouncing my name--always have used a short 'a' when pronouncing names that begin with that letter.

EDIT:
You still pronounce them in your head guys. Unless you're :borg:s.

No, they are all speed readers.

Crezth -> Creth. The z is silent.

Wow I'm not the only one that does this. (^O^)

Borachio - bo ray shee oh (like fellatio, as cardgame said)

Close. But 1:45 has it right:

How you pronounce Crezth I've no idea.

I don't say names out loud and I don't sub-vocalize when I read so I've never tried to pronounce most of the usernames on the site.
How do you know you don't?

I have a theory that telepaths, or more exactly people who can tell what other people are thinking, could pick up on the subvocalization patterns. But they'd have to be very good. I reckon straight telepathy would be just as easy.
