How do you pronounce your English?

I really don't know. I am guessing Quebec English, but I suspect that I sound more like either an Ontarian or an American.

Eastern Ontario English, apparently.

But mostly, I speak French.

So what dialect of the French language do you use?

Same question, applies to other non-English speakers.

Born and raised in New England, and I sound like it. Rhode Island, specifically. If there's an "r" at the end of the word, it's not pronounced. I don't do this bit, but most neighbors do: if there's no "r" at the end of the word, add one for good measure. Among other things, of course. We speak very quickly, and we're renowned for our unique incomprehensibility.

No idea how that came about, never been anywhere near the place.

Canadian Prairies English, influenced by growing up with Swedish-speaking grandparents and years of watching CBC news/documentaries, Britcoms on PBS, and Star Trek (I tend to talk like Spock, even when I'm being casual). One of my high school teachers said he could tell that my ethnic background is Swedish because of my accent. I hadn't thought it to be that noticeable; it's true that particular words and phrases tend to come out the way my grandfather pronounced them.

There are a few inaccuracies in the Wiki article. I grew up saying "couch" instead of "chesterfield." And we do so know what a "bluff" is when applied to geography. In fact, I'd never heard of the other reference for that word, although come to think of it, maybe that's how the town of Bluffton, Alberta got its name.

Received pronunciation, Queen's English, no accent: whatever you call that, it's how I speak. I do it with the most ghastly voice I've ever heard (almost), so I tend to keep my speech short and concise.
