I've been wanting to try out an Indonesian minor for a while now, but I'm scared of losing my HRE Tech Bonus![]()
What is the British fascination with the Med and Black Sea? I'm still just learning the game, and think I have it down enough to play one through. Playing as Castille, and allied with France. About 1490, England forms GB, and has extensive lands across N Africa from absorbing Tripoli, Tunisia, and other bits and pieces. France and GB go to war (go figure), and I get called in as a war ally, and I call in my allies Naples, Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily, so they're not getting anything through Gibralter, and they're not going to keep what they already have. France promptly takes White Peace.![]()
I just keep sinking the Royal Navy, and destroy the British army in N Africa when they invade Morrocco, while my allies start conquering all those Brit provinces in the med. After a few years, I sue for peace and demand tribute. With a warscore of 37%, and without having made a single attempt on the home islands, I get GB to release Ireland, Scotland, Tripoli, and Tunisia. Not only did I kick them out of the Med, but I broke up GB? Is this normal? I thought England was supposed to be pretty badass, but I broke them in half with a warscore of 37%? Weird.
