How is your EU3 Game going?

In my game, I got all my European provinces except Friesland to join (which the Emperor refuses to accept for no reason!)

The good news is that I'm 1st in prestige! :smug:

My campaign with Bosnia. Started when the Ottomans have a small but significant drop of power, quickly conquered Zeta and Ragusa, Hungary took out Serbia. Used Hungary as an ally to take power over Wallachia (who had gone to war with me when I declared war on Zeta). Took it out. Made an Alliance with Byzantium, chipped away Ottoman Balkans province by province, war by war, broke my alliance with Hungary so I could gain Serbia, made an alliance with Austria (a huge screw up) Austria weakened and all my heirs died and my empire is now collapsing

Who is that in NE Spain/S France?

In my Dutch game (I started at the beginning of the 7 years War), last time I checked, the Ottomans are collapsing, and have been forced to release Crete, Cyprus, Morea, Greece, Smyrna, another Turkish minor who's name I forgot, and the Mamlukes, and have been forced to cede all most all of their remaining European territory to Austria.

Unfortunately, Britain seems to love declaring war on me just after the New Year, and I'm already at war with Spain, France, Parma and Manchu with no powerful allies, so I'll probably have to try to give them military access or something.

While Spain, France and Parma seem to be quite passive now (I seized France's Somalian colonies, and they did nothing), my war with Manchu has quite a lot of running around SE Asia, though little real fighting, and Britain has a 17000 man army in India, where my garrison consists of 4000 men.

I've been wanting to try out an Indonesian minor for a while now, but I'm scared of losing my HRE Tech Bonus:sad:

Indonesia is horribly depicted in EU3 (including in the supposedly-RotW focused Divine Wind). Wait for my mod. Which will be completed sometime in the next 25 years. Probably.

What is the British fascination with the Med and Black Sea? I'm still just learning the game, and think I have it down enough to play one through. Playing as Castille, and allied with France. About 1490, England forms GB, and has extensive lands across N Africa from absorbing Tripoli, Tunisia, and other bits and pieces. France and GB go to war (go figure), and I get called in as a war ally, and I call in my allies Naples, Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily, so they're not getting anything through Gibralter, and they're not going to keep what they already have. France promptly takes White Peace.

I just keep sinking the Royal Navy, and destroy the British army in N Africa when they invade Morrocco, while my allies start conquering all those Brit provinces in the med. After a few years, I sue for peace and demand tribute. With a warscore of 37%, and without having made a single attempt on the home islands, I get GB to release Ireland, Scotland, Tripoli, and Tunisia. Not only did I kick them out of the Med, but I broke up GB? Is this normal? I thought England was supposed to be pretty badass, but I broke them in half with a warscore of 37%? Weird.

This is thanks to their uber-navy that they keep in a stack killing everything they see, so they end up getting lots of territories in the Balkans or north Africa because of crusades.

They break easily, but this time it was thanks to your destroying their navy, their War Exhaustion was high for sure, and did you checked their war capacity? even with 60% score a nation could not accept to pay 25 ducats if they think they can still fight (Venice in my current SRI Austria game, they had high war exhaustion, but the navy and a high war capacity)

speaking of that game...
it's going very nice, i'm all mighty, but thanks to a event and constant personal unions (thank you Mantua and Thuringia) i can't inherit Hungary. why? the game makes you choose between one of the countries you have under the PU to keep and inherit or the other one, and for some reason the event doesn't works when i select the option that give relations to Hungary, so i inherit the other country and my PU with Hungary breaks, then i force the PU again...
warning : i never claimed any thrones

Spoiler :

HISTORICAL!!!

so i got Bohemia and Hungary at a PU quite early, inherited the HRE crown and all this whiout any claim throne!

huh...
Spoiler :

I just vassalized them because they kept helping Hungary every time the PU broke, then just some time later...
but i released them as vassals again, my Admnistrative Efficiency was already quite low...but i keep the cores! so if i want to get them back, i will already have some nice cores.

Spoiler :

just allow me to inherit Hungary! this is my fourth PU here! i don't want to keep having the PU breaking by event
eu37c.jpg

Spoiler :

Hope they'll inherit them, would make a awesome endgame boss, good thing i'm not Aragon (i'm also not allied with them, poor Aragon)

haha! how fun!

Wow. I only just realised how much I love the look of Spain in GC EU3. In FTG, it looks like Aragon has a Tumour; which is quite ironically the province of Aragon.:mischief:

update : in my Austria game i took back the two Hungarian cores Poland stole in wars of unification (that are named Austrian-Hungarian war of unification, btw, interesting name :D)
i also inherited Thuringia and am going to inherit Hungary, i destroyed noble rebelions in Bohemia and Mantua because of a issue about Serfdom (i am +1 free subjects and Bohemia and Mantua were pro-Serfdom, so i forced Free Subjects in the regions)

SRI mod is just awesome, but i still have to finish a lot of games in it i started last month~. this is my first serious SRI games, the others have some time i didn't played

Here's my first real EU3 game:

I'm playing as Burgundy, on very easy :king:

Been expanding aggressively militarily, through those core-giving events and through personal unions and inheritance, but I've done it far too much the HRE that I've now got an ever-rising infamy problem. It doesn't help that I'm the emperor and keeping getting all these random territories. I've released a few nations as vassals and all that, but don't have any more that I want to release :(

A funny thing I've noticed is that heretics are taking over Aragon and England. The latter is my next target, if I can work out a way to bring my infamy down.
