I was just noticing mine are messed up. It says I've gotten the one for going into snow with the Norweigan ski unit, but I've never played as Denmark.

It also doesn't give me credit for my Deity win. Yes, singular. I hate Deity.
 
I dislike vanilla playstyle so i guess i have 20 or less, who cares.

The first is normal; there's a bug in that achievement in which if the AI playing Denmark does that, you also get the credit for it.

As to the second, the main things I can think off is if your playing a mod, progress towards achievements is disabled. And if you or steam was offline, you might not have gotten credit either.

If your sure you weren't playing a mod and still have the save from right before you won; you could try loading the save and winning again to see if you get credit.

I have 88 of them. Most recent is the one for finding 100 natural wonders. Next one I'll get is after I win my current game as the Ottomans, the win the game as Ottomans achievement. (I got the Barb Navy achievement earlier this game)

Update:
I'm now at 90. Ottoman victory achieved. Along with Bismark's convert 10 camps.
 
113 total. I only enjoy the Polynesia and New World scenarios, so I won't be attempting to play the others for the achievements.

I really only care about getting a win with each leader. Just have Bismark, Askia, and Rakem....

99 for me, most recent being the one for "winning on all map types" and "winning with all (vanilla*) leaders." (I haven't played as Genghis and I don't have Babylon, Polynesia, or Korea.*)

I didn't get the achievement when I played as Denmark the first time, wasn't looking for it and there was no snow nearby, but I did end up getting it when Denmark was one of the AIs once as well.

I also have one horrible, messy deity win. I just stepped up to immortal as my new comfort-level difficulty, and I may try deity again someday, but yea; screw deity for now.
 
not even remotely gunning for all of them. i'll feel good when i break 100. im somewhere in the 70s.
 
All of them. Deity Mongol and Deity Wonders of the Ancient World were the toughest for me.
 
I have about half so I guess that would be 90. I worked to get some of them early, but lately I have just been playing how I want to and ignoring achievements. If I get really bored, I might try for some more though. Some of them just seem too tedious though like killing hundreds of ships as England or buying 1000 tiles. I almost never buy tiles, so my tally for that is likely really low. I'm not about play over and over just buying tiles to get a useless achievement. But maybe if I'm bored some day.

I don't specifically go for the achievements, but occasionally I'll look at what I have and pick up ideas for my next game from what's still locked. Mostly just the variety of beat game on X (map|civ), but some of the wacky civ specific ones look fun too. I'll probably never get a scenario one, I just can't get into the scenarios.
 
I have 130/176 (74%). Most recent was Tomb Raider on Jan 20th 2012. I love the steam achievement stats because I can look at what percentage of players have what achievements, and therefore know that I have a few of the 0.1% or 0.2% achievements like the 'Samurai Delicatessen' and 'Ruler of the Seas'.

I am someone who actively tries to get the achievements. I just like having a goal to pursue while playing other than just victory. Civ 5 is the only Steam game that I pursue them in, but I actively pursue them on Xbox as well. I only need 6 more for Skyrim on the 360.
 
I have 100.
I've beat the game with every non DLC civ and on every difficulty except Deity.
 
I have 118, I have all of Polynesia's Scenario's, and I have all but 4 civ achievements for the New World, with the recent one being playing as Inca.

I also have every wonder, every piety, full tree, every civ (including DLCs), and few other minor ones.

I just hate the 100 units, 100 generals, and 100 wins achievement.

I'm also missing most of the 1000 achievements, the closest I believe is the tile one (i have around 750)

My least favourite is Scenario Difficulty Achievements, there's just no way I can beat Mongols in Diety :( that's why I want a save game xD
 
i have 86. i have been playing nearly 1900 hours and not a single time i have tried to a get a certain achi, but i guess i was bound to get some of them. i have always thought that achievements and trophys are overrated, since nearly all of them has nothing to do with skill. so they are not even e-penises...
