Well, how many? :smoke: [pimp] :smoke:

Actually i am happy that by now i smoke slightly less than 20 (ie less than one pack). Not very long ago (eg last year) i still smoked around 2 packs, and that is really VERY unhealthy.

I guess my goal now would be to get to 10 cigs/day, which seems possible for me :)

Poll will be up soon, just light another cigarette. :yup:

I smoke only the sweet mountainous air. Stuff is kind of expensive, I have to ship it from Denver.

Never smoked, never will. It's a disgusting degenerate behavior, good luck with your reductions though :)

during my youth I smoke two pack in a day, after that I try to decrease my cigarette in order to quit smoking for religious reason till it drop to 13 cigarette in a day. After that my guard went down and I start to smoke as I like again, now it is more than 20 cigar per day. I really regret the day when I start smoking. Really bad decision.

My one day as a smoker I smoked ten. I was at a bar where they were giving away promo packs (half size, ten cigs) for the brand new Camel Filters (yes, I'm old). My buddy thought that being with his non-smoker friend entitled him to just take mine, so I smoked them all to spite him. Other than that I stuck to illegal herbs.

20 cigarettes, you mean i suppose :D

And the thing is that when one starts to smoke it is a hugely different experience than what it tones down to a year later/etc. When one smokes for the first time/month(s) the cigarette does make you a bit dizzy and mellow. But no one smoking for years feels that anymore. Maybe just a very brief shadow of it :)

Anyway 10 cigs are not that bad, i suppose i will get to that. Changing one (not healthy) pleasant habit for a more healthy/better alternative

Never smoked, and thanks to both parents being heavy smokers, I have respiratory problems.

no no more than 20, now I smoke more than 1 pack in a day. Maybe around 25, I'm not sure. But one thing for sure is, if I buy 2 pack, it will finish before 2 day. But I don't know exactly how much I'm smoking, I stop counting my cigarette, I'm thinking to start to count it again.

First time it mostly the feeling of unpleasant. You feel your mouth so bitter, food felt disgusting, your head feel dizzy, but I guess the only things that makes you keep smoking and becoming addicted to it is: image (especially in 90's, you know), friends or just simply you smoking because you want to rebel.

Yea good luck, hope you really quit one day. Cigarette prices also start to rocket (here is around 4 usd per pack) it is harming the economy.

I really feel sorry to hear that. I will never smoke in front of my child, God willing.

Depends on the day. Work day, maybe 5 or so I can get on those extended breaks. Weekends can range from 8 to 20. All these being rollies instead of from packs.

Ghastly stuff! I actually managed to stop completely 14 years ago, after many, many previous attempts. It's probably my most sensible action to date. Though it never would have been necessary if only I hadn't started in the first place. Which is something I really did know I shouldn't at the time, but I thought 'Hey, this will be no problem for me. I'm a really strong-willed person. I can give this up any time.' How wrong was I!

I can quit alcohol addiction easier than smoking, I remember during my fasting I'm not suppose to smoke cigarette, when I break the fast I directly take my cigarette and my hand was trembling holding my cigarette. Hell cigarette is so bad.

If you didn't smoke as a late teen in the 90s, you were nobody :borg:

Well, i suppose i mostly started to smoke cause some other loner/bookreading people around me did. But i hated them as well, so i mostly smoked cause i associated it with being in a place i was not.

As for alcohol: don't drink (haven't for 14 years or something). Never drunk much either. I liked the rare glass of liquer or cognac at newyear's day :)

Boys smoke at 14 to prove their manhood. Men quit at 40 to prove their manhood. Much pointless expense between.

I bought my first car by not smoking. Now I own a house.

I credit being a drunk for the fact that I didn't get hooked on cigs. The day after my ten cig introduction I was heaving my guts up and it was worse than usual. Since I was certainly not going to give up tequila I blamed the cigs and never smoked again. Took nearly two decades to quit being a drunk.

I usually manage to be good with a pack for half a week. I often break down cigarettes to make joints, and I bought my first pack for that purpose, though smoking cigarettes recently has become a regular habit as well.

zero.

I do smoke the occasional cigar, but that's about it.

Denver miles of high city.

1-2. The rest of my nicotine is derived from e-cig. Someday it may be 0 everyday and I'll just vape instead of smoke, but for now I do rather enjoy that rare Camel.
