140, simply because last week my pc kept crashing on me all the time, now with new ram sticks it'll get better ^^

1910 for me.

(But like a previous poster, I've left the game idly open for inordinate amounts of time.)

And speaking of mods, I doubt I'd have that number without them. Certainly help keep the game fresh!

Well over 3000 hours so far. Every time one of these threads pops up I'm like, "should I admit it?" Whatever.

wow you need to get out of your mothers basement every once in a while.;)

735 hours for me! I played a lot at the beginning, but now am busy with the little baby. :mischief:

189 currently, will probably end up at 200 by the end of the month, and then it'll skyrocket since I'll have some free time.

Seeing the hours played always scares me, on a side note.....

A paltry 360 hrs, shameful compared to the time I invested in C4 for example.

I first got this game the day it came out, put in 200 hrs in 14 days (with no a.f.k to distort the figure's), before reaching the stark conclusion that it was called Civ5, yet had little to do with the Civilization series I knew and played hard from the initial Civ1. So I just stopped playing: full-stop! Then this mega patch came out with much fanfare; the patch to finally put the Civ back into Civilization. So I invested another 100+ hrs in a week, only to shake my head and think "this is a games developer that can't even compete, or keep up with, Thal's TBC Mod that is done by freelancer's in their own time!" It's LOLtastic, but at the same time, very, very sad....

I'll go back to lurking and leave the lover's who somehow get a kick out of this misleadingly titled game, that has fleeting reference's to a once mighty genre! :hide:

Moderator Action: The last sentence here is too confrontational and antagonistic ('lover's who somehow get a kick out of this'). Please tone it down.

OK, OK -- I'm "hopelessly addicted." So how 'bout all those guys who can win Diety in under 250 turns --- guess they didn't vote?;)

They are too busy at trying to win under 200 turns...

1030 hours as of 21/July/2011.

Dude, why do you haters have to invade/derail every single thread with comments about how "Civ 5 isnt civ" and how much it sucks etc etc even when the thread isn't about that? Some of us actually like Civ 5 you know. Now if the thread was actually about problems with civ 5 this wouldn't be an issue.

At least you weren't purposefully trolling I guess, so that's something.

For what it's worth i'm sorry you don't like the game.

Edit: Sorry for the double post.
